As much respect as I have for Vrabel and his ability to manage players Pickens is one player I want absolutely nothing to do with. He's a major league ******* who doesn't give one **** about any team he's on. He's a punk.
My humble opinion. He doesn’t even exist on their boards

Pickens was tagged.. So why are people talking about him still? No one is going to give up that many #1s for that douche nozzle.

Sign and trade is always an option.
Not for us, I wouldn't go anywhere near him.

May indicate Edwards hits the market.

Only if the player approves. Pickens is still a FA and can't be traded.

Yes, I was assuming he signs his tender and obv a new deal would be in place with the trading team.
It's happened many times in the past, and a possibility here......but not with us!

Connir mcGovern out of reckoning. Bills were too fast to sign him up

Could make dumping AJs salary all that more attractive.
Agree, i just edited my post, I think it opened up about $6m in cap space. Not earth shattering but helpful.

Pickens is what everyone here thinks AJ Brown is. No thanks

Unfortunately this happens every year, and they just have to adjust as things move. Last year the left tackle market was cleaned out before free agency even hit.

Unfortunately it's going to take much more than that. I doubt he will sign anywhere for less than 22 million a season.
I don't know about that one man. McGovern signed for $13M a year, Lindenbaum is going to take $22M a year? That's like 80% more. I think the absolute highest APYs on centers are around $17M for guys like the Eagles' C. So $22M is still 30% more than that. If Lindenbaum thinks he is 30% better than that... he may have a hard time. I think he should be (and will be) happy to be at the same level as the best center deals in the league.

It's been widely speculated that Linder will blow the top off the market.
$22M is in the ballpark.

Supposedly Baltimore gave up trying to re-sign him because he wants 25/per. That's pricey, but he's an All Pro caliber center and only 26 years old. He's also considered the top free agent hitting the market by some sites. If the Patriots can get him for 22 I'd be all for it. Then draft ineahnachor or Miller at 31 and the line is pretty much rebuilt.

He's definitely going to set a new bar for centers.
