For me, extending this solid 28-year old starter for 3 years can be part of the OL solution.
We then have a solid starter for the next 3-4 years.
We save more than $10M on the 2026 cap.
This could, for example, pay for our backup LT and another player to compete (perhaps Munford).
SUMMARIZING
no extra cap money
3-4 yr starter at RG
3 yr backup at LT
camp competition at OT
I would draft our future starting RT

We would need to spend cap money on an LG, but that was always the case, for a veteran starter or backup.
