If K re-signs, do they think a healthy Landry, along with development of Ponder and potential Swinson is good enough?
I hope not. Whether via the draft or FA, we need more juice.
I think most of us expect an edge in the first 2 rds of the draft assuming we don't sign a stud in FA or make a trade.
But.....perhaps we won't see an edge early in the draft as we have lots of needs and value has to be there. We might end up taken a player later in the draft who is a pass rush specialist, that will need development to contribute on 1st and 2nd down.
I doubt they're done. I'm sure they're having some real discussions with Landry about his future.I wonder how Vrabs and Wolf view our need at edge.

Holy **** dude, he was the best pass rusher in the entire playoffs.Might be considered a desperation signing. We so badly need pass rush that we were incentivized to be aggressive.
I really hope it wasn't for big money.
I'm not buying the Crosby talk.I doubt they're done. I'm sure they're having some real discussions with Landry about his future.
Signing Chaisson means they need to only fill the Pass Rusher 1 position, instead of both pass rusher positions. Saves them (my guess, no information here) a draft pick. I think the Crosby/Hendrickson stuff is just smoke.
No, full stop..

They saw the same games we didI wonder how Vrabs and Wolf view our need at edge.

Free agency hasn’t even started yet. The league year hasn’t even started yet. Do you know what desperation means?Might be considered a desperation signing. We so badly need pass rush that we were incentivized to be aggressive.

Has this been confirmed anywhere?
Maybe I'm missing it, but when I go to Chaisson's Instagram, this is not up.
No mention anywhere else.
It is in his Instagram stories and it is still there. I just checked.
My guess is if he is really signing that the terms have been agreed to and maybe some final details are being hashed out.
I saw the contract length and numbers on Facebook but did not save it.Has this been confirmed anywhere?

Short term, high guarantees, team-friendly, would be my guess. 2-3 years? Enough so he can really cash in after this contract.Very interesting. Never even touched FA, yet here he is. My guess is he signed a very team friendly contract.
