Maye never seems to change the play like TB did. Hopefully he will work on that in the off season. It is a real Achilles heal given the **** play calling by Josh.
He missed several protection calls to help the line in the 1st half. To not move the ball at all until one drive....thats on the QB. If you want to be the MVP, MVPs don't perform like that in the SB.

Still kinda think he was drilled with not turning the ball over and kinda lost his edge....I'd take 3 TD passes and a couple fumbles lost over this tentative, fearful display we've seen in the AFCCG and SB.
(1) Maye has come up small in this game.
(2) Maye has faced strong D all postseason & he hasn’t been able to overcome that.
(3) it’d be crazy to look at a 23 year old who finished second in mvp voting and think that he sucks - overall - because of it.
(4) Darnold’s journey should show us that Drake, despite these last few weeks, shouldn’t be labelled at this early juncture.
