So far in terms of the football itself it has not been terribly entertaining.and probably one of the least interesting first half of SB football of all time. Hope the Pats can make some adjustments

No, that’s not what matters to the NFL. This is a calculated move. This is an attempt to turn the 20,000,000+ South Americans and Latin speaking individuals who have come to this country over the last five years from soccer fans to at least interested NFL fans. This isn’t simply a Latin artist. This is a Spanish-speaking halftime show. My wife is Colombian and all of her friends, illegal, and legal. All were excited for this. that was their goal. They knew that traditional NFL fans would still watch the game regardless, but this has been a big draw for that untapped market.

Meanwhile NBC goes with curling and bobsledding...
