2026 Draft: Quarterbacks

There's no real reason for him to be at the combine, he can only hurt himself, but I've not seen this one before

I wonder if anyone takes that as football not being important to him

I doubt it. I think most people understand there's zero reason for him to go to the combine. Any interviews he needs to do can be done team by team.

I don't know if this is final or not.

Anybody buying into the Garrett Nussmeier hype?? I'm not he absolutely stunk this year. Also what's the story on the Bigger Bust Drew Allar?? I wouldn't tough any of them before the 6th Round.

I can't wait for the foolish Teams to Reach for Simpson and Nussmeier and push a good player down. Trinidad looks decent better than the rest: I think he he'll be #2 after the Combine. Drew Allar is another one fools gold early on. If he goes on Day 2 that GM should be fired on the spot.

I don't see a Tyler Shough this year but there's still time. There's some guys that can definitely run but they have a slow arm delivery.

Luke Altmyer & Cole Payton come to mind.

I'm a PSU fan, so feel somewhat qualified to comment.
Allar has prototypical size and arm talent, the kind scouts salivate over.
But.....I do agree he never seemed to be able to put it all together.
PSU never had great WRs while he was there.
They did get Pena in the Portal last year, but he's not a top end talent and then Allar got hurt.
He will need a good coaching situation, but if he can develop his mental side of the game, his upside will intrigue GMs.
I'm thinking 4th rounder, GMs will bite on his physical skills.
