If the OL holds up, Drake is gonna have a huge game. We've seen it all year.

Only difference in the playoffs is that the OL has given him no time or has sped up his play enough to make him uncomfortable.

I think McD should design rollouts, like what he did in that second half of the first Buffalo game. Get Drake comfortable and let him cook.

Also, we haven't hit a big wheel route with Trey all year. I've been waiting for them to hit one where he has space to show his speed.
I agree on rolling Drake out, Seattle’s interior D-Line generates a good amount of pressure, get Drake rolling out to make the tackles chase him, let Drake dictate the flow of the game, I hope Seattle plays man coverage and Drake runs all over them.

Bedard's three players he is most concerned about headed into the SB.

1. Wilson
2. Hawkins
3. Maye

I am so kicking myself. I KNEW I should have placed a bet on the Pats at MGM when I was in MA in December.. *SIGH*

I really don't care either way about Bad Bunny, but can I give a loving chuckle at the way this board asks for dad rock at halftime every single year?

All props to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but Anthony Kiedis is 63 years old. The NFL landed an act coming off a best album Grammy and vying with Taylor Swift for the title of #1 music act in the world. Smart move for a production that's supposed to lure in viewers who are as blah toward football as we are toward reggaeton music.

I'll probably watch the way I watch most halftime shows, at half-attention just in case something memorable happens.
It’s been a long time since I’ve paid attention to a halftime show, I’m normally reheating food for us.

This shows me you didn't watch much of the regular season. I would say Maye "aired it out" in exactly one game, the Baltimore one where he threw his ONLY 300 yard game, because he had to as they were behind. You look at his stats it's honestly a wonder in efficiency cuz game in and game out he was right around 22/29 250 yards with 2 TDs no picks and 30-40 yards rushing. That's the stat line I want from Drake this week. We get that we win. He needs to be what he was all season, which is when he takes his shots he hits them, but he isn't the guy that throws it up 45 times a game.
I think the person meant air it out by taking shots downfield. If not what they meant then I will be over there minding my own business.

I genuinely don't think he is. No one would question him if he gave something like "I think that's an obvious answer" when asked and moved on.

I don't think that football player inside him likes the idea of another QB winning a SB with the Pats.
Maybe Tom doesn't want any team to have as many SB rings as he does.

I’ve honestly never been more confident in a SB before. I think it’s an amalgamation of being an underdog for the first time since the first SB, the national disrespect, the team’s expedited progression & knowing what the offense is capable of when they’re on their A-game. We know the defense has a Costco size bag of chips on their shoulders, but the offense is truly being **** on due to their 18 ppg this postseason. Not saying it’s gonna be easy, but I fully expect the D to look like a mixture of their hyper aggressive approach vs the Giants & the current playoff edition D; and the offense to look crisp again.
Kind of hoping the team leans into BB and Kraft not getting into the HOF. Complete disrespect, make them pay mentality.

I like how the bottom two guys are 13 and this stat conveniently starts at 12 lmao. Cherry picked stats are so embarrassing
Umm its still pretty impressive because they have several guys that can get in QBs pocket. I would be interested in the Pats QB hits, I bet they have maybe 2 that have had 12 QB hits

Sure but why stop at 12. Why not 10. Why not 13. Why not 11. Why the arbitrary cutoff

This Patriots defense isn't the same defense McDermott saw that allowed 5 consecutive scoring drives to Buffalo.. maybe he will use another 9/11 reference.. .. the defense is the reason we are in the superbowl right now.. they are playing at an elite level and with a chip on thier shoulders... so reminiscent of 2001..

This video is talking about Drake Maye vs. the cover 6. Nothing about the Patriots defense.

I think this is a little misleading though. The sample size of when Maye struggled against the cover 6 is coincidental to when the offense was missing key pieces like Boutte, Hollins, Campbell, and/or Wilson. Not sure if Maye would struggle against cover 6 with all his receiving weapons.

One of the advantages of cover 6 is that they have a lot of bodies in the secondary to cover all the receivers. Being down just one receiving option can really factor into how successful the Patriots are.

And the funny thing is they bring up the Baltimore game where Maye threw for 380 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT for a 102.5 QB rating.
