I am leaning Heavily toward a Big WR 6'2 and up: I know some will go early. But there's enough so Three or Four might still be around well into Day 3.

He had 144 snaps out wide and played in a team with Sarratt and Charlie Becker. Also, Allen is 180lbs, Cooper is 200 so has better size to play wide.

I've just been going through the Feldman's freaks list and saw this:

No. 29 Jeff Caldwell, Cincinnati, wide receiver​

A transfer this year from Division II Lindenwood in Missouri, Caldwell had 93 career catches for 1,722 yards and 23 touchdowns in his career there. He’s 6-4 1/2 and 208 pounds, and he wowed Cincinnati coaches when he broad-jumped 11-9. For context, that’s seven inches longer than any other wideout jump at the combine this year. It also would’ve tied the farthest any wide receiver has ever jumped at the combine. Caldwell’s vertical jump is 36.5 inches and he clocked a 1.50-second 10-yard split.

For comparison's sake, Matthew Golden (4.29 forty) and Xavier Worthy (4.21) both had 1.49 10 yard splits. Jayden Higgins, who is similar in size, had a 1.53 split.

So a very short break down of De'Zhaun Stribling

First the positives. He has pretty good straight line speed when he gets going. I saw 4.5ish somewhere but he looks closer to the low 4.4s when he really gets going. But this is pretty much only in a straight line. That speed may be his best trait. His size is pretty good at 6'2. His hands are big. He doesn't body catch. His route running shows some savvy and patient. He has good size at at almost 6'2 and 200 lbs and it could easily be argued this guy is more than the sum of his parts.

Now the negatives. His teammate Teammate Harrison Wallace also entering the draft outperformed in nearly every metric. And no one is jumping over themselves to take him. That to me is a bit of a red flag. There were plenty of yards to be had. Why didn't he get more? I saw a lot of agility which is concerning and could be limiting. While being well rounded in a lot of ways nothing really sticks out. It makes it hard to say how he will win consistently. I didn't see him do much work in man to man and many of his biggest plays relied on mistakes by the DBs were he could turn up field in a straight line. I feel like he won't get as many of those. His acceleration from stop to top speed is okay, but not fast enough to make me think he will get up their often and when not getting in a clear straight line i rarely saw he speed be what it could be.

Overall I just don't think there is enough here to make me feel confident he is worth a day 2 pick. Maybe he will be more than the sum of his pats and the lack of many weaknesses and some route saavy will prove good enough. For myself. I think I'd rather take a shot at his running mate Wallace later who might be undervalued right now. Getting him in round 6 or lower is possible and I would consider that better value if he does fall there for sure.

Overall he is a 4th rounder. and more of a mid to late one imo.

A breakdown on the other Ole Miss WR Harrison 'Tre' Wallace.

Wallace is a guy who plays smaller than he is much of the time. Listed as 6'1 200lbs by some but looks more sub 6'0 and 185lbs or so. He is what I'd call a true slot WR.

Positives. Slippery with coverage and able to gain some extra yards most of the time with a nice pivet or adjustment of his body. Has very sure hands. Will catch it reliably both away from his body or near the ground. He makes great adjustments on the ball and with his body. Acceleration is pretty good. Not elite but pretty good. He can get from a stand still to pretty fast rather quickly. Always looks for every yards and almost never the side line. Fantastic moves to set up his routes off the line and in his breaks. This is a highly underrated part of his game. He sells hard and it works.

Negatives. Lacks top end speed. You do wish his acceleration and agility were a bit better for the game he is playing. For as well as he sells his routes, he kind of needs to cause his change of direction and first step aren't that sharp. Obviously lacks power. Will always be a role player.

Overall he looks like someone who will transition his skill set well to the NFL imo. He does what he does well and he looks incredibly reliable. The only issue I don't see ever using him much on the outside and you'd hope your slot was a bit quicker. But I like how much polish his game has already, though he is probably already pretty near his ceiling. Overall I see him as a 4th round pick. A mid to late one. Probably destined to slide later than that and is absolutely worth considering later if he is still around.
