It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Nice job manman: with so many prospects at the position: some also flying under the radar. We could get a decent WR in the Third or Fourth Round.I firmly believe that we need two types of WR. Either this year or next year. This year would be better to get one of them just for development sake.
1. The Mack Hollins replacement. Excellent blocker, offers a deep threat but also big enough and strong enough to go over the middle. Kyle Williams offers some of that but not all. I think Williams is more a Boutte replacement.
2. The Diggs replacement. Other than Diggs we don't really have a high volume receiver and ideally I want someone who can play the slot and Z who can offer those high volume receptions - the chain mover. Chism offers that from the slot, but not from the Z.
The best candidates
I like these to differing degrees, being on these lists is not a full endorsement. I just think these are the best profiles to fit those roles.
The Mack Hollins
a. Denzel Boston
b. Chris Bell
c. Elijah Sarratt
d. CJ Daniels
e. Malachi Fields
f. De'Zhaun Stribling
g. Ted Hurst (maybe. He's probably more Boutte than Hollins)
h. Jeff Caldwell
I. Josh Cameron
J. Dillon Bell?
The Stefon Diggs
(I'm ruling out slot only guys)
a. Omar Cooper Jr
b. Germie Bernard
c. Skyler Bell
d. Antonio Williams
e. De'Zhaun Stribling
f. Kendrick Law
g. Reggie Virgil (Another that probably fits the Hollins/Williams role better).
h. Cyrus Allen
That's a bit of a stretch. JSN came from Ohio State (Wide Receiver U), had 95 catches and over 1600 yards in his best season, was a first round pick and is currently one of the best WRs in the NFL. Cyrus Allen had 49 catches for 661 yards this year and will almost certainly be a day 3 pick at best who will have to fight for a roster spot. There's promise there, but that's all it is for now. There's a reason almost no-one had heard of him before the senior bowl. You'all know who moves as sudden as that?? JSN I was looking for his clone in this Draft: it might be Cyrus Allen.
Cy Allen 13 TD's in 2025 definitely moves the needle for me. Puka had 1700yds last year Former Sixth Rounder. Cyrus Allen is going be a Steal. That's a bit of a stretch. I hadn't seen that. That is impressive and worth noting.Cy Allen 13 TD's in 2025 definitely moves the needle for me. Puka had 1700yds last year Former Sixth Rounder. Allen is going be a Steal.
Speaking Bear cat Receivers nice find on Jeff Caldwell.I hadn't seen that. That is impressive and worth noting.
You've given up on Pop?I firmly believe that we need two types of WR. Either this year or next year. This year would be better to get one of them just for development sake.

No, but I'm not convinced by him either. I think he's upgradeable. He's also a slot only. You've given up on Pop?
Thats kind of what Diggs has become which has been why we've seen less of Pop IMO.No, but I'm not convinced by him either. I think he's upgradeable. He's also a slot only.
But in 12 formation, we need a high volume receiver to play the Z and we play 12 a fair bit. I don't think that's Douglas.Thats kind of what Diggs has become which has been why we've seen less of Pop IMO.
I was flirting with possibility of another Cincinnati WR in FA Alec Pierce. Well not anymore after seeing this Bearcat 2025 duo.Looks like a certain Patriots QB-WR convert on that second clip.
A day 3 Cincinnati WR double would not be particularly bad.
Two good day 3 developmental options.Josh Cameron
Cyrus Allen
We could use a RZ Threat: we're not perfect there.I hadn't seen that. That is impressive and worth noting.
And not a very elusive one either. No, but I'm not convinced by him either. I think he's upgradeable. He's also a slot only.
It is certainly much more varied. You can find every type of receiver you could want this year.Is it only me or does this 2026 WR Class look much better than last year's; from the Top?? Teta Mc is going to be Great and Travis Hunter is more CB. This 2026 WR class have some serious depth: some guys are going to get lost in the shuffle. Also Chris Bell would have been sure First rounder minus that injury...the possibilities.
