Voters list. Take a guess on the voters that didn’t vote for Bill:

Whoever didn’t vote him in are complete bitter and angry losers that are using their jealousy and personal bias when voting….. that’s not how it’s supposed to work

So many Patriot haters, NY, AT, BUF, CLE, LAS, IND. The HOF comes off with egg on its face, and a hit to their legitimacy. I feel bad for the ones that get in, they will always have a BB *.

Thanks to @NFL Mystique in the bigger thread, we have the first person to publicly identify themselves as voting Belichick down: Vahe Gregorian in Kansas City. His (claimed) rationale - could only vote for 3, wanted to vote for all, voted for the 3 senior candidates knowing this may be their last chance, while knowing Belichick and Kraft will eventually get in.

This guy should get a cookie or something.
And that's a totally reasonable take (although, Ken Anderson and LC Greenwood are more 'hall of very good' in my mind).

At this rate we're going to have an alleged unanimous vote for Belichick.

Well, 49-1, with Ron Borges the one vote on the other side.
lol . Truth.
And there is no way Polian voted yes.
Bill “yes 100% but having said that it’s more like 95% because there have been so many HOF votes who can possibly keep track” Polian.
Stains like him are why cross examination was introduced into trials.

Thanks for posting it but, weak explanation. There’s a reason why Anderson and those others were in their last year of eligibility…. Cause they don’t belong.
Meanwhile greatest coach of time is told…. Wait your turn?

I can recall several years ago baseball and football HoF voters often writing a column explaining who they voted for, with explanations why they voted for this person over that one, etc.

This made for good debate about difficult close choices, as well as being a thought-provoking article to read.

At the time nobody thought it was a big deal.

Now we have writers like Cimini (and others) not wanting to disclose their vote, as if we are prying into their private life.

Why the desire to keep it a secret? I understand they are under no obligation to do so, but the lack of transparency begs the question: what are you trying to hide, and why?

What a lame ass excuse. It is a very binary decision of choosing who is a HOFer and voting who is most worthy of being in the HOF among candidates before all other extracurricular reasons. It’s starting to get as bad as the baseball HOF

Sure, but Dungy doesn't seem the type to say 'I'm in the hall of fame, but BELICHICK isn't"
Dungy can be awwwwwwwwwwwwfully holier-than-thou at times. I don't trust him not to have his self righteous sanctimony dictate his vote.

As far as Polian, he’s a little ***** ass, he can deny it all he wants, not surprised in the least about his hand in this. His resume is full of what if’s and it pales in comparison to the coach who caused all his what if’s. As in if BB never came to New England Polian might have had this many Championships. LOL… GFY Polian. 45-7 MF’s.

So, you don’t like Bill Polian?

Unless people are willing to relitigate Spygate, most of this conversation is useless.

On 98.5, they refuse to give it much time (which I can totally understand) but when they make declarations about Spygate, I tune out because there's a prohibition on going into it.

So, here we are, talking about something that 95% don't know about.

It would be as though everyone pointing at the suspicious man on the grassy knoll and stating with assurance that he's the one who killed Kennedy, but we don't want to do an Oliver Stone deep dive on the event. We'll just keep talking about the grassy knoll assassin.
