Post your predictions here for the 2025 Postseason:

Super Bowl:
New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks.

This contest is open to everyone. It's both a weekly and a season-long contest. Stakes are bragging rights.

******** Above the reply box is now an area to make your score prediction: ************

Here's an example of what it looks like:

You just slide the red markers and select your score, and then post your reply with your prediction and any additional comments in this thread so we can keep it the same way it always has been, with the exception of having you pick your score. This allows either me or @alamo to update the results much faster, ie: I've been posting the results within a day or two after the game

You will also want to drop a comment with your prediction as well for the sake of keeping the spirit of this contest intact as that's how @alamo has always done it and it remains part of the scoring process. The scrollbars are just to make it easier to tally and provide the results faster, while the comments also help back you up in case of any issues, along with the fact that it's fun to drop little anecdotes ahead of kickoff.

Getting back to the rules, as a one-time allowance for computer problems, forgetfulness, or whatever, one week can be missed and will be assigned that week's average score.

SCORING:

Your score is the COMBINED deviation of your predicted score for the Pats and opponents REGARDLESS OF DIRECTION.
For example, if you predict Patriots 31 Seahawks 23 your score is how many points off of 31 the Pats are (over or under does not matter) PLUS how many points off of 23 the Seahawks are (over or under again does not matter). Game winner does not matter. Lowest score wins.

You may change your prediction at any time before kickoff, which the window will close at that time and your selection will stand. Please keep this thread to predictions only (after you make the pick), no back-and-forth discussion of the game. A short comment explaining your pick is OK and encouraged after you've made your selection.

Good Luck!

West Coast - 24
East Coast - 27
Middle - Is there a tractor pull on?

A tough game but Pats pull it out.

Seattle 28
Pats 32

Pats win 20-17

Austin Hooper catches the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth.

Pats run defense stifles the Seahawks ground game forcing 3rd and longs. Gonzalez slows down JSN and forces Darnold to look elsewhere. Diggs saves the best game for last.

Pats 23
Seahawks 20

Mayes goes off for almost 400yds get SB MVP and Regular season MVP sorry Stafford.

Pats 35

SeaHawks 21

24-21 pats

destiny is calling

These are two really good really well rounded teams. I expect it to look a lot like the last Seahawks Superbowl in one team will punch and then the other will counter punch. 0-0 end of the first quarter but 17-14 at half. I hope the Pats make just one extra play in a knockout heavy weight fist fight of a game.

Pats 27
Seahawks 24

Patriots 27, Seahawks 23

Reverse jinx worked last time so here's hoping twice is nice.

Seahawks 24-20

I'm thinking it's going to be more of a defensive game than we'd all like. I'm counting on Darnold to throw them at least one pick, and Seattle struggles to run the ball on Milt and Barmore.

24-17 for the first franchise to get 7 Lombardis.

McDaniels + Maye + (finally) Good Weather = 31 points scored
Vrabel + Kuhr + Chip on Shoulder Defense = 20 points allowed

Still can't believe this is real & this pick is for our NE Pats !! 4-13, 4-13, 17-3 & SB LX

Pats 27
Hags 18
One more time with Patriots two-score victory. Took a hit last week, but "two out of three ain't bad."

24-17 Pats
