Early 2026 Binkies

Not a coincidence.

I'm fine drafting your binkies every year if that is the outcome.
Why say it in jest? Stand up and shout it from the rooftops.

You are amazing. All Hail the King!!!
Thank you but it's the FA class and not the rookie class that made all the difference. I asked this yesterday in the main forum, but this has to be the best FA class of this century right. And not just for the Patriots.

Rookie class has been excellent.

FA class has been outstanding.

In-season under the radar additions and roster management have been sublime.

A master class in roster and team building.

Deion Burks WR Oklahoma- He’s only 5’10” 185, but besides being fast (I’m guessing 4.4 or under), he’s a physical freak, he’s powerful, a gym rat, can bench press 400, that’s what they said in a video I saw on YouTube. Should show out at the combine. Maybe a good pick in the 3rd or 4th round if he falls in the draft.

Eric McCallister WR TCU. Big receiver, 6’3 205 with excellent speed and hands. Really explosive receiver.

He will drop in the draft because he did have some legal issues, he was given probation for pointing a gun at someone, gives me Hernandez vibes with that. Hopefully he’s a changed man.

So without officially calling them binkies, guys who would get me super-excited if the Pats picked them:

OT Monroe Freeling
OT Max Iheanachor
OT Caleb Lomu
OT Dametrious Crownover
WR Chris Bell
WR Ted Hurst
WR DeZhaun Stribling

DL Caleb Banks
DL Lee Hunter
EDGE Akheem Mesidor
LB Jake Golday
LB Kyle Louis
S/nickel Treydan Stukes
S VJ Payne
Nickel Keionte Scott
CB Devin Moore

LOTS of other very, very good players who I'd be happy with, but these guys generate a higher level of excitement for me.

I struggle with the TE, RB, IOL and EDGE groups. See 2027.

It's a very good list. I'd subtract Lomu and add Rodriguez, Demmings and maybe Cameron for my list but we're not far apart. I also want to see how Sam Hecht performs at the combine before adding him.

There are a lot of guys I'm not quite there on yet:

- WRs: I like all of Reggie Virgil, Josh Cameron, Jeff Caldwell, Eric McAlister, Brenen Thompson, and Cyrus Allen. I haven't sorted them out enough to where one definitely gets mecexcited more than the others.

- IOL: Pieper/Siereveld/Smith/Green were the ones who excited me. Some good ones left, but not quite the same excitement level. Combine testing may change that.

Rodriguez very good, just not sure he adds an extra dimension to our defense, compared to Kyle Louis whose versatility and coverage skills stand out.

No right answer.

Again, tons of guys not on my list are VERY good prospects who I would be happy with.

I would vote for a new category...adopt-a-binky , clearly this is a category where people like myself who do not have the knowledge can pick their pinky after all the hard work is done by others..
Work smarter not harder, well done.

Although I will say that digging into the prospects isn't as much work as its time consuming fun.

Why any 2 of these 5 likely day 2 picks would significantly transform and elevate the 2nd and 3rd levels of our defense:

1. Jake Golday

2. Kyle Louis

3. Treydan Stukes

4. Keionte Scott

Be nice to find a way to get 2-3 of them.

You can add a virtual underscore to Mesidor and Rodriguez, but they will always be Manx's finds first.

IF the Pats sign Alec Pierce, offensive playmakers who I would pound the tables for (mostly Day 3):

1. Eli Heidenreich or Cyrus Allen. A WR who can get open in a phone booth and break opposing DB's ankles. If Zachariah Branch, Deion Burks or Kendrick Law slip to the 4th round or later, add them as well.

2. Sam Roush. A strong blocking TE at worst, true Y TE upside.

3. Oscar Delp or Jaren Kanak. A versatile move TE who can dual as a big slot WR.

4. Mike Washington or Adam Randall. Rhamondre Stevenson was great the 2nd half of 2025, but he has a $9M cap hit with $6.5M savings in 2027, and RBs have a short shelf life. Washington could be Jonathan Taylor lite, Randall a low-cost Rham replacement.

5. DeZhaun Stribling. Fine wine at budget price.

6. Jeff Caldwell. Pierce a clear #1, but Caldwell could replace Mack Hollins in 2027. Developmental upside.

All but two of these are binkies lol. And the two that aren't are the 'youngest'. I might need to recalibrate my thinking for next year.
