Imagine the public/media reaction to the "-gates" as well as the championships had Brady been QB of the Colts, and Peyton QB of the Patriots.

The funny thing is that Manning, the silver spoon scion of an NFL family, was positioned as the aw-shucks down-home everyman. Now the Patriots Fatigue crowd has to marshal up some hate for Drake Maye, who really IS that.

If PM was the subject of these so called “investigations “, they would not happen to begin with. He was the golden child tha could do no wrong. Ask his wife, you know, the one who actually got that HGH…. /sarcasm. If it was TB that was accused of getting it, you can bet it would still be talked about today…but no.

The more the rest of America hates the Patriots, the more I like it. When anyone outside of NE speaks kindly of them, it infuriates me.I can't stand reading complimentary articles from the national media about the Pats team, Maye, Vrabel, etc. I know that sounds real!y weird, but it's just how I feel. I love being despised.

It’s nice to see them writing about the Pats, but you can sure as **** bet on them being turned on the following week. I also enjoy the hate they get as it’s something to use for motivation.

I would go with LAC/Pit/But/Bears.

That would be okay. As would SEA as the NFC team.

I really don’t care as much about the possible Super Bowl opponents as I do about the AFC teams we might play. They are more our traditional rivals.
