Sorry, America. The Patriots are back.

Not sure how many of you guys are New England skiers but the thing this year has been to wear your gear and a Drake Maye jersey over it. Been to Vermont, NH, and my local mountain in CT here and have seen quite a few number 10's on the slopes.

Let's win a single postseason game before we start with this ****

I was hoping they could get in to the playoffs this season, now they actual contenders, they are about 2 years ahead of schedule. IMO it's safe to say that they will remain true contenders for the next 10 years. The Maye vs Allen games are going to be a blast, it's Brady vs Manning all over again. Those are the sweetest wins.

If the Pats somehow go all the way this season I hope our path is LAC/Jax/Pit/Carolina

The meltdown over our schedule across the country will be epic! I wonder what rule changes will come out of that. You know there will be.

The pats are back.... But I think some Pats fans have a slight over estimation of what that means

Brady went to 10 super bowls in his career. 10. Amazing. We are use to great teams performing at a high level in the playoffs. And when they slip, we are use to our QB pulling a win out of his ass at the last second.

That is not the reality in the NFL. Maye is a great QB I think... But so is Allen. So is Lamar. So is Rodgers. So are a number of guys. And they failed to come through routinely in those critical moments.

Not coming through in the playoffs with the game on the line is the norm. Not coming back from trailing in the 4th is the norm.

Brady was such a closer. It was ridiculous. He took a format that is typically a coin flip and put his thumb on the scale. Something you almost never see even HOF QBs do.

So yes the Pats are back... But now we are coin flipping like everyone else most likely at best. And that is if Maye is good enough right now to even allow that to happen. I think he is.

So we should beat the Chargers... But against the Bills or Broncos or maybe even Jags? Total coin flip most likely at best. At least until Maye shows he can be not only the guy to take you there but impose his will on the highest level of competition.

No need to apologize for the success of the Pats, despite their recent dismal success, the culture of winning runs deep this coupled with their rabid fan base all led to a very successful season.
Now on to the "tournament" that is foreign to many franchises, but familiar to us.

He may have i don't remember that though. But he and gronk never came close to the face time in commercials that Kelce, Mahomes, and Even Reid got over the last few years.
Maybe it is just me but I don’t like Gronk on TV.

He is the greatest TE ever, but I think his on air personna is lacking.

He just doesn’t have it, as opposed to Edelman who clearly does.

Yeah, the author mentions deflategate as if it were a real cheating scandal instead of the NFL setup to bring Brady and the Patriots down.
Lazy journalism which seems to be the norm nowadays. Like CNN calling the target of a fraud investigation and asking them if they are committing fraud. When they deny it, they run with it rather than investigate. Not getting political but using it as an example of lazy journalism.
Or the NFL checking ball pressure at a subzero playoff game to "prove " balls didn't deflate ( Minn-Sea ?) but never releasing the results likely because it proved the Ideal Gas Law. And no journalists did their own test to avoid biting the hand that feeds them.
Is it laziness or corruption or both??

Enjoy this run folks and don’t let the disdain for the Pats take away from your excitement and fun.
Haters are gonna hate.

The Patriots were so successful for two decades that almost every NFL fan is against us.

The NFL league office constantly hounding us under Goodell for scandals both real and FAKE didn't help. Spygate was real because BB was stubborn about filming the opposing team. Deflate-gate was FAKED science because everybody has to pump their tires back up in the winter. It was just a witch hunt.

Tom Brady went to the Superbowl almost every other year in his storied career and won 6 championships for us. That's unprecedented and enviable.

Just when rival fans were enjoying the thought of us going downhill we're BACK!

Just a couple of years ago BB ran our offensive talent into the ground with repeatedly bad and bizarre drafting decisions over the years and even worse coaching decisions, such as appointing Matt Patricia or OC resulting in a #32 rated scoring offense and 4-13 record. Mayo followed up that act with another awful 4-13 season and gave terrible contract extensions to BB holdovers who weren't worth the money.

Nobody could predict the Patriots Renaissance under coach Mike Vrabel. Not even the most optimistic fan predicted a 14-3 season with Drake Maye emerging as an MVP candidate.

I'm just super grateful that we found our GUY in the draft. We didn't trade down from #3, like many pundits recommended, and we landed one of the generational talents in a stacked 2024 NFL QB draft class.

Mike Vrabel brought a professional attitude and team philosophy. He rebuilt our proud franchise into a winner. All the players have bought in and the veterans have done a great job at bringing up the youngsters up to speed. I'm loving this team now and I was by no means expecting our turnaround to be this sudden and meteoric.

The more the rest of America hates the Patriots, the more I like it. When anyone outside of NE speaks kindly of them, it infuriates me.I can't stand reading complimentary articles from the national media about the Pats team, Maye, Vrabel, etc. I know that sounds real!y weird, but it's just how I feel. I love being despised.

Maye right now is better than all of those QBs. He is only going to get better and better and better. He will sit right under TB12 as one of the greatest QBs of all time barring injury. I feel very, very strongly about that.

Brady also had the under armour advert where the Californians were mocking his Boston accent! Was pretty funny! “Under ahmah”
He had a good one with Lawyer Milloy too.

Well that’s off the table already.

I’m hoping it’s LAC/Pit/Buf/LAR.

I never thought lightning would strike twice, but here we are. I'm loving every minute of it.
