Put down the Beer Toof you lost me right there.

I think money and draft assets are better spent elsewhere . We get a solid oline you give Maye enough time , that will make every wr into wr1.

Besides Josh is able to beat other teams with his playcalling.

Every offense has dumbed down. Now is the time to use it to our advantage . Get some core guys and rebuild the intelligence . Play chess while others play checkers.

Always thought he was overhated here. The contract they gave him was premature and he's overpaid, but that position makes relative peanuts and we have globs of cap space so even though I grade the move harshly on the front office, it's ultimately pretty inconsequential. He's a good, versatile running back and there's no real money to be saved by cutting or trading him this offseason. When he was fumbling to the point of being unplayable it made sense, but once that got sorted out I don't understand why anyone wouldn't be penciling him onto the roster next year. I guess maaaaaaaaaybe if they signed someone like Breece Hall and planned to expand Henderson's role they might give him a chance to find more playing time elsewhere, but even then you can rotate 3 guys at that position and you're one injury away (at a position where those are frequent) from needing him a lot.
RB’s lifespan is short, he had a good rookie year, better following year so they gave him contract thinking he will be good or even better

He’s a good RB who went through a tough stretch.
I never called for him to be sent packing, but I understand why some did.
Playoff games outdoors in less than ideal weather, he’s exactly the type of back you need.
Glad to have him, he’s playing great.
I believe what's gotten lost in the sauce is rham lost his father.. his father was a huge factor and influence on his life who pushed him to get to the NFL. Rham said in his own words. Rham is talented and for some time carried this team during those last few terrible offensive seasons.

That is the primary reason I feel rham had some struggles earlier in the season. Nothing could account for the toll losing a parent could have on someone especially as close as rham said they were.

This is what I felt too. That's why I said his personal struggles overlapped into field and it's not easy separating it out.

Glad he is doing well and hope he makes enough dough so that his future is secure.

Vrabel to make in 2026 and forward regard the role of the 3rd RB, the FB and the 3rd TE.

Our top RB's are set for the foreseeable future.
=========
Personally, I like the idea of the 3rd RB being a short-yardage specialist, running behind a FB or TE/FB.
=========
As Vrabel has demonstrated (certainly to me) is that the Practice Squad can be used to provide players when needed at RB and returner.
=======
As always, if one of these players is in serious danger of p=being poached, Vrabel will find a place for him on the 53, even if he is almost always inactive.

Absolutely agree. Imagining what he had to be enduring. Remember James white after his father's passing? Even though he tried to play through he said he never felt he was the same person afterwards.

I'd really like to know what/how the team/coaching staff did to help Rham turn things around. Vrabes and others on the coaching staff get a ton of credit....but Rham gets the most. He was in a bad place earlier this year and now he looks like an All-Pro.

Also read Ivan (who can't walk well anymore) has been at practice in a golf cart busting Rham's chops/offering encouragement.

IMO what they did ( primarily Vrabel) was to show support for him, and i in think he did this with many players, and they are benefitting greatly from this approach. The first thing he did was to come out and call it a team problem, instead of just putting it on Rhamondre, Vrabel said it wasn't first contact and that his teammates were letting guys get to him to strip it while he was being brought down, and called on his teammates to help him out by sustaining their blocks and not letting extra tacklers in to rip it out while he was going down. I'm sure they also showed him on film what he could be doing to protect the ball better. And most importantly he stuck with him and kept giving him the ball when everyone was screaming for his head. Rham is probably the best example of this but Vrabel showed early and often that he had his players backs ( Borregales e.g..) and that he was going to stand by them and not throw them under the bus. It's really obvious that these players love playing for Vrabel, his coaches, and this franchise, and it has shown up in the field all season, and it's going to really benefit them this coming offseason. Players talk to each other in the offseason and convincing free agents to come play here is going to be much much easier this offseason than it was just a year ago, when they were a moribund franchise no one wanted to play for. More than anyone else we have Vrabel to thank for that, and the way he has supported his players has everything to do with it.

Fantastic answer and aligns with my own belief.

I agree wholeheartedly as well.

We can also say Rham is earning his contract and still in his prime. With his Catching and Pass Blocking Ability: Rham could be around for a while. A RB's shelf life in this league lately is not very long: Rham could be one of those exceptions.

Rham is also only 1800 yards or so away from being our career rushing yards leader. We havent had a RB last long enough to challenge Sam Cunningham. Could be Rham.

Unfortunately Martin racked up most of his HOF yardage on the Jets. Breaks my heart to this day.

WHAT A GAME!

3-TD's
WR pass routes
long runs for TDs
move the pile runs
highlight real PASS BLOCKS
138 yds on just SEVEN carries

If he isn't the offensive player of the week, THAT will be the true awards robbery of the week,

I was strongly against the tide that wanted him gone, BUT I was OK with having him move on after this season and making a big push for BHall in FA. I thought Hall would be a big up grade. With the improvements we are likely to see in the overall offense this off season, we are likely to be, at worst, just as good in the run game as we would be WITH Hall, if not better. He and Linderbaum were my top big name FA targets. And given Bradbury's season, I'm wondering now if we should overpay for Linderbaum.

BlTW - given all the questions surrounding the Ravens now, it looks more likely he's going to want to hit FA
A downside to getting Linderbaum would be it lessens Wilson’s value since he is a better center prospect than guard.

So we have a 230-lb battering ram who’s elite in pass protection but also runs WR routes impressively well. Meanwhile the outside breakaway speed threat Henderson has spent the past few games dragging piles of defenders for extra yards up the middle. Pair that with a QB who is equally effective in the pocket and on the move throwing to every part of the field…

If you’re a DC what’s your plan against this offense? What are its tendencies?
Wait until Drake adds check downs to Henderson in the open field to his repertoire.

They’ve had both Hendo and Rham line up split out wide. So far they’ve gone downfield or motioned back inside. I’m waiting for the screens, or quick slants across the middle. I’m sure Josh can come up with some nifty possibilities.

Lindebaum is a great athlete, Wilson is a great athlete. Campbell is a great athlete. I really don't see a downside to having those 3 guys on the field together, especially after what we have seen the previous 5 years.

When I look at the coming free agent market Lindebaum is the best value in it.

Best value?
He will make what, $18M, that's a **** ton for an OC.
Good player for sure, best value is highly debatable.

Rham's turn in form is why Vrabel is a coach and I'm watching games on TV from 10,000 miles away. Happy Rham has proven me wrong.

He's one of the best players at his position in free agency. There's no Justin Jefferson or JaMarr Chase at WR? There's no Miles Garrett or Micah Pardons at Edge. There's no Patrick Surtain or Derek Stingley Jr. at Cornerback. Lindebaum is that level of player so you are getting a one of the best centers in football at 26 years old and a position of serious need. If they give Maye a great inside pocket to step up into he's going to destroy opposing defenses. Imo there's no better value than building the best OL in football in front of Maye, and Lindebaum would be a big piece of getting that done, so yes, I think he's the best value in free agency,
