Ben Roberts and Austin Romaine?

Sweet!

Didn’t see it here I think, Rasheem Biles entered the transfer portal so he won’t declare. He could go to Texas or Alabama.

The draft is getting increasingly interesting with some of this guys opting to stay in school.

Still waiting on Ty Simpson, Yhonzae Pierre, Niki Prongas and PJ Williams of teams not in the playoffs.

Texas Tech stocking up, too.

Manx will be happy.
I'll still like them if, ad only if, they become my binky team next year. I have no allegiences, just to whichever team scratches my draft nerd itch the most. This season it was TTU and Miami. It could be anyone next year. It does seem like Tech and Indiana are tooling up for the Natys though.

I know you don't root for teams per se, but you do - cough, cough - develop favorites based on personnel. And si know Sorsby intrigued you - big upgrade at QB from Morten.

Texas Tech obviously staying very aggressive.

I do but it could be entirely different teams next year based upon prospects/playing style etc. It could be the same teams too, I enjoyed both TTU and Miami's defensive styles this year.

It's clear Tech have seen their offensive weaknesses this year and targeted an upgrade their offense (they've signed two WRs too). Austin Romaine is a big signing on defense but they'll probably need to upgrade their DL to match this season. They clearly have eyes on going further in the playoffs than this year.

That's what I love about this Indiana team - everyone plays to their best. I half-jokingly said we should go all in on Indiana prospects on day 3 but if you went with that philosophy you'd be getting some of the best coached, most professional prospects available.
I am biased, as an IU grad, but there is a huge advantage when
1) you almost never miss a tackle;
2) players are always in the right position;
3) you commit very few penalties;
4) players almost never drop a pass;
5) running backs always end their runs plowing forward for extra yards;
6) everyone knows their job and does it

The whole situation is very much early Belichick era-like. Mendoza is even a big Brady fan!

2027 NFL Draft will be Deep is so many areas QB included.

EDIT: Not a done deal, as reported elsewhere. Sorry!

On a side note, I hated Behren Morton at TTech but thought Will Hammond was going to be very good. He could be a stud at the right school. Surprised they went after Sorsby, who is good.

Texas Tech are really loading up. Top 2 QB, top DT, top LB and one of the best available pass rushers.
