2025 NFL season award picks: MVP, top rookies, best coaches

Drake Maye or Matthew Stafford for MVP? Which rookies should earn hardware? And no one is beating out Myles Garrett for DPOY, right?

Barnwell has Maye winning MVP, but doesnt have Vrabel or Trey in this top 3s.

Interesting that Stafford actually performed worse than league avg against like opponents.

I had Stafford as my MVP, but have since changed my mind and think that Maye deserves it without question. Coach of the year is Ben Johnson for me followed by Liam Cohen. Ant ROY is Tet, Loveland, Hendo for me.

Yes. Ive been captured by the intrigue of our epic 2nd year contender. I never care too much, but following Maye, and Trey to a lesser extent, play to the top of their respective classes has been a lot of fun.

It has been loads of fun. I watch the games 2 -3 times every week. I love the way Drake throws the ball and reads defenses, works the defenders to create better passing lanes.

Its really like watching a master of his craft every play.

He rarely makes mistakes (72% at 23, lmao) and his precise passing at all levels is pure theater.

We are watching a super rare player perform.

He's literally the prototype QB. He's everything you'd want as a person and player.

I was so ignorant of his ability. I loved him last year too. His performance under that crazy amount of pressure was pretty illuminating.

Yep, leading a team with Nacua, Adams, Williams, and a top 3 defense to the #5 seed is truly valuable. What a load of ****. Jimmy Garrapolo could have done that.

NFL Honors is Feb. 5.

This actually makes the case stronger for Maye. No Pro Bowl/All Pro players on offense. No 1,000 yard rusher, WR barely cracks 1,000 yards in 17 games and only 1 player with 10 total TD's (Henderson). Maye still threw for over 4,000 yards, 31 TD's and won a league leading 14 games.

If he doesn't win, I'm not going to acknowledge anyone else winning. I could also see a co-MVP which the NFL was forced to do in 2003 with McNair sharing it with Peyton Manning.

Other that Mahomes, no one has won the MVP and the Super Bowl. Maye can take the Super Bowl, Stafford can have the MVP.
