Complain about whomever you want.

Stop. You've been complaining about Hollins's role on this team since the day he was signed. Hes produced and once he got hurt you created a **** arguement why every other WR should be playing and not him based on a statistical projection.

Not really.
I’ve been saying since the beginning he isn’t good enough to play a starting role. All these posts are showing I was right.

When he is not on the field they do better than when he is. That reduces it all to one sentence which is 100% true.

No. You said he shouldn't even play and you are categorically wrong.

A stat without context is worthless and again your conclusion is flawed. For instance we know they score the same amount of points per game when Hollins is out there. Of their 18 rushing touchdowns, was Hollins out there for all of them? Who did he block? Did he spring the runner? Without those facts, by your logic in the inverse, we'll just assume he was part of the equation and enabled the runner to score which is the same logic as assuming when he isn't out there they are a better passing offense.

Mack Hollins is one of the most "important' receivers the patriots have in a group with Diggs and Boutte...

- 550 yards in 15 games / catch % is 71
- run and pass blocking ability
- aggressive attitude on the field
- special teams contributor
- mentor to E. Chism and others
- quirkiness takes the edge off teammates

He shouldn’t play ahead of the top 4 receivers we have. And that is proven right by what happens when he plays or doesn’t.

The stats have all the context in the world. When Hollins is in the field we do worse. It’s the one variable.
But now you want to make things up and give him credit for things you have no way to know or prove. Great arguing. Desperation.

No it hasn't. Based on what? Yards per route run and some 1/2 ass projection? LOL.

No the one variable is points scored and its the same.

Please. You are creating a fallacy that the offense in better with him off the field when in actually they score the same amount of points when he is on or off it. You are conjuring up stats and making projections without context to support your position that Hollins sucks and shouldn't be on the team.

That smacks of desperation.

The offense performs better when he is not on the field.

Here I will update the numbers.

With Hollins on the field Maye is 195/279 69.9% 2353 yards 8.43 ypa 14 TD 5 ints 31 sacks passer rating 104.7

With Hollins NOT on the field Maye is 145/191 74.4% 1850 yards 9.69 ypa 17 td 3 int. 16 sacks passer rating 128.8

ONE variable, Hollins on or off the field.
The sample size is almost 200 passes and 41% of his passes.

Every stat is a lot better. He has thrown 17 TDs in the 41% of his pass attempts without Hollins vs only 14 in the 59% Hollins is out there.

Every football analyst or observer will tell you weapons matter. When Hollins is one of the weapons Maye is DRAMATICALLY less effective.

And where you are getting that they score as much with him on the field as not I have no clue because when he isn’t they are throwing a TD pass every 11 passes and when he is it’s every 20.

You can continue to blather about whatever excuse to are trying to make but the facts are the facts and when you make one change to the Patriot offense, sitting hollins down, it gets exceptionally better.

Hollins gets some production but is a drag on the passing game if h is on the field.

It’s not even arguable. .

The true sign of desperation is accuse the guy who is presenting facts as the desperate one.

And no you weak attempt at making up a stat lie is with.
Hollins has been in the title 657 plays and the patriots have scored 26 TDs.
Hollins has been off the field 378 plays and the patriots have scored 22 TDs.

The patriots score TDs one out of every 18 plays that Hollins is on the bench and 1 out of 22 when he is on the field.

That rate means for an equal number of 657 plays there would be 38 TDs in 657 snaps, or almost 50% more.

Great to see you back here, Miguel.

Hope you and yours had a Merry X-Mas.

BTW, Do you have a picture of that Habitat for Humanity House that you were supporting?
Was not a specific home.

Your analysis is incomplete but you clam it is.

Making catches and getting into FG range and making the kicks matter. Players need to catch the ball and block on running plays to make that happen. Douglas and Williams are not as good that doing that as Hollins. The number show this. You ask about points there it is.

Maye has a 95 QB rating in the red zone this year. Is that Hollins fault? What plays were run? Where was he in the formation?

We disagree on Hollins's value. Respond if you want. I don't think there is any more to be said.

I’m going to stick with the fact that how your team performs when you are in the field is the best evaluation of the quality of your play.

You can stick with maybe they kicked FGs and it’s thanks to him despite everything being worse when he’s on the field or other unsubstantiated guesses.

Weird hill you are choosing to die on; the facts heavily support a conclusion and are going with assumptions you can’t prove to decide the opposite.
It’s not really about our opinions. We have them, we investigated the facts and it is overwhelming clear which opinion is correct.
