What crown?
The MVP Saquon Barkley should have won?
No, I don't put much stock in MVPs.
I'm referring to best in the league, which I think Allen has earned.
It's a pretty widely held opinion amongst impartial fans/media/analysts, so It's not like I'm alone in my opinion.
Now Maye is ascending at an exponential rate, and could take that torch, but he's not there despite his incredible season.
If he does again next year, then it's a different conversation.

They have the best QB in the world.
When we had that, we won SBs, even with rosters that were not great overall.
He's supposed to be a great defensive mind, and their D has not been good for a while.
I live in Ontario which is Bills country, and he is not well regarded by fans and media alike.
You think he's good, I do not.
I live in Buffalo. I talk to Bills fans day and night.

There are more in his corner than not. The radio guys dont think the conversation is serious.

our experiences differ, all good.

Bills are absolutely not going to tank the Jets game on purpose so they can play a division rival on the road who just ended their reign atop the East and has absolutely nothing to lose this playoff season. That’s not happening. McDermott isn’t that stupid.
Hold my beer!

if the Pats are the #2 seed, LAC being the #7 seed is what you want. clearly the weakest AFC playoff team this season with their injuries

I am in the minority I am sure but I think that McDermott is a good coach. Why does everyone clown him, legit question because I assume that I am missing something.
Go back and watch the end of the playoff game between the Bills and Chiefs, Chiefs get ball back I believe at the 25 with 13 to 15 seconds left down three, McDermotts decides to play about 20 yards off of Hill and Kelce, three plays later they kick a FG. If Josh Allen never wins a Super Bowl Bills fans will point to that sequence of plays.

Have you seen Allen's playoff stats?
13 games played
3359 passing yds
25 tds / 4 ints
668 rushing yards, 7 tds.

Those should be the numbers of a SB winner, but McD has prevented.
He's supposed to be a defensive guru and their D has been a problem for awhile.
Who the **** calls a D that has Kelce running wide open down the seem with 13 seconds left?

If Buff had a good coach, Allen and the Bills would have a SB, of that I am sure.
One of the reasons I would Hate for us to face them at the outset. This Fact remain the Bills are the most Experienced AFC Playoffs TEAM: we are the Least.

I'm not so worried about the experience factor.
I would worry about the Allen factor.
When he is at his best and he can beat anybody.
We would have to score and not take our foot of the gas, because you know Josh has that level in him. If you leave it in doubt he will make you pay.

I don't want Buffalo at New England as our Wild Card matchup.....that's supposed to the AFC Championship GAME!

You are 100% correct.
I understand playing off coverage on Hill, but they literally let Kelce free release down the seem with no one near him.
I may be remembering incorrectly, but I think 2 of those 3 plays were uncovered seem passes to Kelce.
Ii was absolutely disgraceful coaching.

I agree. Maye has to do it over and over again. Including winning postseason games like Allen has. Nothing wrong with pointing that out.

The Chargers are gonna get boat raced by the Patriots. Playing **** **** games with the playoff seeding gets you nowhere. West coast team, banged up traveling East. Dome team traveling east in January.

Yeah.

I wish you'd said motorboated, I could have used the funny visual

They have the best QB in the world.

Allen’s good but the world? C’mon now…..he can be very hot or cold. One week he takes his team that was down 30ish points and wins by 4(?) and the next he fumbles 3 times and throws a pick. Just sayin….and I’m not even saying Drake’s better…..he WILL be…

I think Maye will be better.
Allen is second in total TDs behind Stafford.
His WR cast is bad, really bad.
I think he is the best right now (based on the last few years), it's a pretty popular opinion outside of this forum.
Maye is on his way, not there yet.

I think Josh Allen as the best QB in the NFL (and thus the world) is a pretty popular opinion. There are certainly valid criticisms of him, but most people probably have him #1.

Mahomes hasn't been statistically as good for a while now. Lamar Jackson has a shakier individual playoff history. Maye is in his first year playing at this type of level. Stafford has never been an MVP type of guy before this. Hurts has team success but isn't individually on that level. Herbert isn't an MVP type of guy. On an on.

I think a good 25 years we had "best in the world" be a guy who is in discussion for #1 all time and Allen isn't that level, so maybe it feels a little over-the-top to say he's "best in the world" but it's actually pretty realistic. I think it'd be a hotter take to say he isn't #1 QB playing right now than that he is.
