() indicates prospect ranking on the particular board being highlighted

There are probably another dozen or so prospects I could find if I looked harder.

They obviously can't all go top 50. There is a lot of variation, even in the top 20.

If this is accurate and I have no reason to think it won't be, mocks will have to be seriously re-considered because i'm almost completely blown out by pick 64. You've just left me Stukes, J-rod and Stribling.

This is really crude, and reflects my priorities:

1. QB, QB, QB
2a. Disrupt the QB
2b. Protect the QB
4a. Versatility and disruption on defense
4b. Versatility and pressure on offense

The groupings are really rough, and fluid. Prospects could easily move up or down a tier, and I could probably have squeezed another 50 prospects in.

Some of my favorites (no big surprises):

1. Protectors

1. Monroe Freeling, Georgia
2. Trevor Goosby, Texas
3. Kade Pieper, Iowa
4. Austin Siereveld, Ohio St.
5. Niki Prongos, Stanford
6. Carter Smith, Indiana
7. PJ Williams, SMU
8. Max Iheanachor, Arizona St.

2. Offensive Weapons

1. Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon
2. Chris Bell, Louisville
3. KC Concepcion, Texas A&M
4. Jamari Johnson, Oregon
5. Zachariah Branch, Georgia
6. Jardarian Price, Notre Dame

3. QB Disruptors

1. Arvell Reese, Ohio St.
2. David Bailey, Texas Tech
3. Yhonzae Pierre, Alabama
4. TJ Parker, Clemson
5. Akheem Mesidor, Miami
6. Malachi Lawrence, UCF

4. Defensive Chess Pieces

1. Sonny Styles, Ohio St.
2. Avieon Terrell, Clemson
3. Jelani McDonald, Texas
4. Jake Golday, Cincinnati

6. Kelley Jones, Mississippi St.

Very tempting. You can add him.

Also, day 3 values:

1. Jacob Rodriguez, Texas Tech
2. Kyle Louis, Pittsburgh
3. Brian Parker, Duke
4. De'Zhaun Stribling, Mississippi
5. Ted Hurst, Georgia Tech
6. Jyaire Hill, Michigan
7. Keyron Crawford, Auburn
8. Romello Brinson, SMU

You may want to check some of these guys out, Manx.

thanks for the heads up.

Do you think that the Pats will target an EDGE guy or a LB in the 1st round?? With the 2 DT/2Edge/ 2 LB that seems to be the Base they want to run, they have a lot committed to Barmore/Williams. But they need more at both EDGE and LB. Especially with how Keion White busted and that Chaisson/Landry aren't really every down guys.. Spillane will be good for another season, but they need help there as well.

Personally I'm BPA on defense or OL but I'm hoping EDGE or someone like Sonny Styles ends up as the BPA.

Probably not but he's a linebacker which isn't valued super high so it's possible. He's close to the top of my board of those who might be available for us.

Love the idea. Im borrowing it to group prospects, if you don’t mind
I’m working on a top 15 for each group but im struggling with the disrupters group, but it makes sense since I really dislike this class of edge guys.

My preliminary OL top 15, or as chatgpt called them pocket guardians:
1 Olavaivega Ioane
2 Emmanuel Pregnon
3 Austin Siereveld
4 Trevor Goosby
5 Monroe Freeling
6 Carter Smith
7 Jake Slaughter
8 Connor Lew
9 Blake Miller
10 Gennings Dunker
11 Max Iheanachor
12 Keylan Rutledge
13 Matt Gulbin
14 PJ Williams
15 Greg Johnson

I left out guys like Mauigoa, Fano because i dont think the patriots will have a shot at them, but they would obviously be at the top of the list. Lomu could be on this list but i actually dont like him that much. Combine could change that.
Pregnon and Siereveld are 2 and 3 mainly because i like them for the patriots, but they could be swapped with Goosby and Freeling.
I opted to left Kade Pieper out because i dont think he will declare but there are some other guys that could stay in school so this list could change quite a bit.
All in all i like this class and i think the patriots could get a starter from this group.

it's a very good list that, by and large, is similar to the way I view things. Goosby would be my no 1 but if he declares, I don't think we'd get a shot anyway.

Very good list. My order slightly different.

I actually have Freeling and Goosby ahead of Fano and Mauigoa. I'm more of a "high ceiling" guy, and I think they (1) have a higher trajectory, (2) are better pure tackles, and (3) offer LT/RT versatility. Goosby's LT ceiling is high enough that some would probably bring up the "Will Campbell to LG" argument.

Ioane and Pregnon are lower for me. They are high floor plug and play guards. That's all they will ever be, and they will be good ones. I value tackles more, prefer Austion Siereveld, Carter Smith and Kayden Green for their versatility, and like Jared Wilson's superior athleticism at LG. I haven't given up dreams of Tyler Linderbaum or Kade Pieper at C with Wilson at LG. So athletic.

What about Caleb Lomu? He has declared, and though he needs to get stronger, his footwork is elite.

Niki Prongos?

Stelfans mixed OT and IOL in his "pocket guardians" list, which I hadn't done before.

Similarly, mixing DL and EDGE into a "QB disruptors" group, my top-15 (not Pats specific) list would be:

1. Arvell Reese
2. David Bailey
3. Rueben Bain
4t. Peter Woods
4t. Keldric Faulk
6. Yhonzae Pierre
7. Caleb Banks
8. Kayden McDonald
9. TJ Parker
10t. Akheem Mesidor
10t. Lee Hunter
12. Malachi Lawrence
13. Kenyatta Jackson
14. Jonathan Joseph
15. Zion Young

I think with the combine, things could change quite a bit in terms of who's #1. More and more i think Mauigoa is a guard, very similar to Ioane but he will have that versatility as a tackle as well which will boost his value.
Not a big fan of Lomu, needs to get bigger.

Havent watched Prongos so i really dont have an opinion on him.

I didnt want to go into much detail, so i think grouping players like this helps to rank them based on impact, not position, which i think its a better philosophy going into the draft (bpa kind of thing).
