Not a penalty, but the Boutte catch wasn't a catch. And that was a 3rd down.

Did the Bills challenge that? Did they have the opportunity to challenge that and their incompetence prevented them from doing so?

They're not the same.

Not to mention that it being a catch or not a catch is debatable. We've seen that hold up even under replay a thousand times.

They were awesome, but you can't count on this happening on a regular basis. Take those away and the Bills dominated.
that doesn't make any sense, you don't just take them away, and you can't criticize Maye not getting into a rhythm because they ran the ball when they were making explosives plays.

It's not rigged. It's inconsistent. When you're calling defensive holds against only one team, that means you've done a poor job.
True, the arm punt towards Mack Hollins was an obvious pass interference that wasn't called.

Again though, it didn't need to come down to ref calls.

You tell me. Which 50/50 penalty went out way?
They had a holding call which pushed them back to 3rd and goal at the 15 and we let them complete a 15 yard TD pass.

That was a chance to keep them out of the endzone that had nothing to do with anyone but the Pats D.

I thought I made it clear. You can do that as long as you don't prevent the receiver from getting to their spot.

No one in the entire stadium, including the bills thought that was a penalty except this one bozo ref.

If a jersey is being visibly pulled, they will call that 100%.

Josh, from his backfield saw it 30 yards away and was motioning the jersey being pulled.

Yup, there was a 4th kick return that ended up on the Patriots side, thanks to the facemask.
They officials were talking and they called holding on the return team, but when announced he said facemask.

Disappointing loss but give credit to the Bills. IMHO, the refs didn't swing the game. The old adage is that if you play well enough questionable calls don't matter. We obviously have holes on both sides of the ball that will hopefully be addressed in the off season. A place in the playoffs is still in the cards, which seemed like a far fetched pipe dream at the beginning of the season. Maye is a solid QB who is on the cusp of being a franchise QB, especially against good teams.
The Woodson call continued a key drive for them.

Is that not a swing in the game?

It came on 3rd down.

Did you watch Maye throw the ball 20 yards down the field on 3rd down to literally nobody?

That happened. That was a crazy decision.

No one said other players didn't make mistakes.

Your MVP QB with the game on the line can't be throwing away a down like that.
yup, as I said, nobody was open

If the Pats aren't going to have a bye, a quick glance at their home vs. away record suggests they might be better off on the road as they are undefeated

Spnyoure saying that the center on the Bills throwing the pats defender to the ground and jumping on him wasnt a holding and we caught a break?

Baltimore is a desperate team. If Maye plays like he did today they will get obliterated. You can't count on 60 yard td runs on busted running plays every game

I did not like coming off the bye.

The whole team didn't look sharp at all. Maye was sailing passes again like he did on MNF.
No passing TDs today is never a good sign unless its a blizzard out there. It seemed like an intended gameplan to run the ball.
Buffalo had the ball for 11 more minutes, but both teams had 10 drives.
The PI penalty on Davis was legit. He was grabbing the Bills receivers jersey.
The PI on Marcus Jones I don't agree.

Hopefully these 2 teams face each other a 3rd time in the playoffs.

I know that the Pats/Maye can play much better.

I've seen thousands and thousands of hours of football.

It's not called every time. Especially with the game on the line.

Like I said. I default to did he move the defender or not. He didn't.

It was the holds that bothered me. I thought Hollins and White were just fighting for a jump ball.

The Woodson call which kept their drive going (effectively a turnover) while the Patriots WRs were getting grabbed and held with no calls.

I don't really hold judgement calls against the refs.

I just have trouble with inconsistency. You can't only call it tight against one team and allow the other team to maul.

The Baltimore game is the 3rd most important game on the schedule, if the Bills finish 3-0 the Pats need to beat both the Jets and the Dolphins to win the division regardless of what happens in the Ravens game.

Was this the best secondary faced all season?
They missed their #1 CB and nobody could get open??
Not good since Houston might be first up.

I'd love to know how buffalo took away the wide receivers
