I think the refs did favor Allen
I think playoffs will be a little more even. This is a good learning moment.

Absolutely it is and I'm not saying Maye ain't got it in him.

Just that he's shown this season he isn't ready to take that next step.

It would help if he had a oline that wasn't giving up 45 sacks and real WR threats.

This was a brutal game....
Special teams started the downfall by allowing multiple runbacks deep into patriot territory which gave buffalo the momentum the patriots couldn't over come.
This also put the defence in terrible positions with short fields to defend, and got worn down.
After a couple of tds buffalos defense was inspired and played much harder.
But the refs were also involved in the bills winning. We may have gotten lucky on the terrific catch by hollins, but after that it seemed the reffs went out of they're way to favour buffalo. Im thinking the td by cook where he was tackled at the goal line, i think he was down and then reached out and put the ball over the line. then there was the ridiculous call on davis which save buffalo from turning the ball over, gave them yardage and a fresh set of downs

Well at least they got their loss out of the way. Hopefully they start a new winning streak from next week. Losing one game is not the end of the world, however it is how they lost that pisses me off .

Defense crapped all over themselves.

Coaches had no idea how to stop the bleeding at all.

We need a real DC.

Man is that an understatement. D also just has too many holes this year which will get exposed against the better teams….and yes not having a DC as well is a killer

The Bills didn't get a Flag till the end of the 3rd qtr, which was offset. I saw MANY penalties not called on them. How many calls on Pats. ?
Including the ones that were very ticky tacky. I hate blaming the refs, but geez. it helped the Bills a lot

I agree. If we want to be upset is about the penalty they didn’t call on the Bills. Because I don’t think there was a lot of what they call on us that was unjustified

The Bills are now 4-2 this season when they give up 185 rushing yards or more in a game.

Allen was my preseason MVP pick and he might have played his way back into the conversation.

I like our chances against any QB in post season not named ALLEN.. he is the difference festy..

With KC out and Baltimore a non threat this is bills year.

I mean, that's personnel, that's the rebuild, right?
Line wasn't bad today. I can really remember only one sack solely on a blown block.

The Pats cannot hang w Buffalo, Houston or Denver come playoff time if Maye plays like he did today. I'm actually shocked at how poor he looked considering how burrow threw for 4 Tds and 284 on them. Maye never looked comfortable in the pocket. Everyone should be concerned about this

I would like to hear from the couple of fans (you know who you are) who continually told us the Allen and the Bill's SB window is closed, and he's a running QB who's career is closed.

There are not ifs and buts about it, it is a pathetic loss.

We were up big at the half.
Defense could not stop a nose bleed.
Probably other things could be said to.

That being said, it is a fine loss to take... as long as we rebound from it. We had won 10 in a row and last thing you want is to buy your own hype.

Let the media crown Allen MVP or whatever and concentrate on what matters.

I'm not going to deny that. But Vance Joseph is also an elite DC. Oftentimes offenses don't know where the blitz is coming from because he disguises it so well.

Agreed.. Denver drafted and developed those guys on thier defense.. Vrabel's doing the same here of course..

I'll keep saying that edge rusher is the biggest FA need..

Sure. Completely fair criticism. I'm just saying Drake Maye's not the reason the Patriots lost. Hell the block he tried to throw 50 yards downfield with 6 minutes to go on the go-ahead Henderson run really is enough to take him out of Blame Pie Slice #1.

Ref got the call from upstairs and JJ sold the bit by saying he got the flag stuck in his pocket.

We've been told a million times you can grab the waist and hold as long as you don't MOVE the defender in any direction.
