Adding context here.. pats D is BETTER, pats O is BETTER since that game... the bills offense is still the same hasn't gotten better or worse.. Cook is thier offense Allen ad libs off the the running game.. Shakir is thier 3rd down guy and they like going to know for thier big plays down the seams.. Bill D has worsened since we last saw them..

Patriots defense is better than when we last saw Buffalo even without Williams.
Patiots offense is better of course even with the recent goal line issues.. we forced two TOs that game and we gave away 2..

Allen is phenomenal, Drake is phenomenal..

We are the hungry team that hasn't tasted success in a few years... we win a close game 27-20..
The Pats defense doesn’t look better to me, especially against the run and especially especially without Williams. But I will second your prediction.

I'm surprised Diggs is that far ahead of the next WR. Doesn't seem like we depend on him so much that he's 30 receptions ahead of the next guy (not counting Henry)

NFL Darwinism is already taking them out of the gene pool.

Losing Williams & Tonga affected the run defense most definitely as they are two of the best run DLs in the league.. however guys like Durden have stepped up to lessen the blow.. of course missing Williams is huge..however the defense allows together has still been solid.. with Barmore, Durden inside the interior pressure has increased last few games..

I'm expecting a tough game. Some breaks did go the Pats' way last game and the Bills O is better injury-wise and the Pats D is worse. But the Pats have been improving, and if they keep that trajectory and score inside the ****ing 5 yard line, I'm feeling good about things.
Forgot to add bills were without thier OT Dawkins and thier TE Kincaid.. on defense without Ed Oliver..

I have the Pats losing this one in a close game. Some will say this makes me a "FaKe FaN"... whatever. Hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Not fake, just faint-hearted.

Pats have had 13 dud games in a row, just read the GDTs. They have simply learned to not let that stop them from winning. Don't expect anything to be different, personally.

Well said!.. when the season started out the thought was to split possibly with Bills and hope to compete.. the way the team has come on and morphed into a contender has allowed me to change my thinking.. I believe they can sweep Buffalo....

That's right.. no naps.. this is a game where definitely gonna have to play zone coverage..
That would be a HUGE mistake. We have 3 excellent man to man CB's. Why take that aspect of their game away. True zone would make it easier to defend Allen against his running ability but make it easier for him sit back and pass against them, especially with their TE's. No, they need to split their coverages and disguise them well. Play good run D and devise ways to pressure Allen. Easy to say, but hard to put together

The Brain Trust have had 2 weeks to put something very arcane together. I hope it will be worth waiting for.

Agreed here ken.. and what your saying is very, very logical. However Josh Allen is not only a great thrower but a great athlete.. get caught in man he's taking off just like he did yesterday on that 40 yards scramble for a TD.. mixing coverages would be ideal.. and to your point let's hope the game plan works to perfection..

I think we have the coaching advantage...

The Bills are 30th against the run, we need to feed Henderson as much as possible. Even thought statistically the Bills have the #1 passing defense averaging (163 yards per game) we threw on them in week 5 for 273 yards. The Bengals threw on them for 284 yards, they are the only team to put more passing yards on them then the Pats. I think we are a lot better now then week 5 and will present more problems for them. We spread the ball around too much for them to shut down our passing game. If we can make them respect the run and not sell out on the pass I think we out score them.

This, there's zero analytical basis you can make to say 'Oh the Patriots are definitely going to lose' Sunday.
These teams have played once already. The Patriots won that game, in a game they controlled for the vast majority of it.
The Patriots are MARKEDLY better than they were October 5th, the Bills are about the same, if not a little worse. The Patriots HAVE NOT LOST since the Buffalo game.

Buffalo's defense is bad - they've lost key players since the Patriots played them last. Ed Oliver will not play. Their pass rush, run defense, and secondary have all fallen off a cliff. They were in a dogfight against as team that the Patriots BEAT ON THE ROAD 3 weeks ago - at home.

The Bills are demonstrably worse on the road this year than at home. 6-1 at home, 3-3 on the road, and get gashed on the ground, giving up nearly 6 yards/carry.

No Milton Williams will hurt in this game, but I'm not sure it will matter, because the Bills defense cannot stop the Patriots.

The only way the Patriots lose is if they put up another 5 turnover masterpiece. Since that Pittsburgh game, they just don't turn the ball over much anymore - it's been cleaned up.

There's no reason to be scared of this toothless team. It's Coronation Sunday. Hats and T-Shirts for everyone.

Knowing Josh Allen is going all out: we have to go gung ho on very snap. No Snaps off!
Do you think Josh Allen wasn't 'going all out' in the first game they played against the Patriots.

This just sounds like talk radio nonsense.

The moronic takes in the billdo's forums about the upcoming game is just simply head scratching.

Check out this gem:

I mean clearly the passing game is solely Diggs right? I mean just check theses stats.....ball distribution anyone?

Diggs will have a bigger game Sunday than he did in Buffalo - he's healthier, and they have no one to cover him. Diggs only played half the snaps in that game, and was still on a hard pitch count coming off the ACL.

He may very well. But my point is simple...if they think shutting down Diggs stops our offense they are in for a very rude awakening.

I agree . i think we are very susceptible to the wide zone run .

Sounds like DeH SkEduuL should be MVP this year instead of Maye.

I wonder if they know about the $50M+ cap room the Pats have this offseason. NE will be an attractive place for FA's to sign now that we appear to have our QB and HC. We can take on any schedule.
