I believe in this Pats team.

I also love watching the Chiefs lose.

I believe in this Patriots team, but they are untested in the playoffs. Many times young teams lose in the playoffs. And even when the Pats had Brady, I always rooted for the teams to lose that gave the Patriots the best chance of getting a Super Bowl.

I love seeing the Chiefs losing, but not as much as I like seeing the Pats winning.

Tonight was less of a need for the Chiefs to lose than when they faced Denver a few weeks ago. I don’t think the Texans getting into the playoffs is as bad for the Patriots than losing out on the bye and not having to play playoff games in the road.

I did not have "C.J. Stroud outdueling Patrick Mahomes in a mid-off to eliminate the Chefs from winning their division" on my 2015 bingo card.
Yeah. Preseason would that have seemed least likely, or Pats contending for #1 seed with only four games left?

KC isn’t that hard to beat especially in Denver. They already beat KC in Arrowhead.

The Pats still have the Bills and Ravens. If Lamar Jackson gets healthy in the next two weeks, the Pats could lose both those games. Then the Broncos would have to lose three games for the Pats to get homefield.
OK. I'll put it this way,, I'd rather go to mile high, then Play KC here. So I'm happy KC lost. Hows that?

The Broncos play at KC

I'm not going to worry much about the Patriots needing help and here's why: I never in a million years imagined them this season going 11-2 with a 10-game winning streak. They're in bonus territory now, AFAIC. Let's see if they can continue taking care of business themselves and the hell with everyone else. And should it come down to a playoff game in Denver, I trust Vrabel implicitly to get them ready.

Is this based on what the voices in your head told you?

He's going to get 'healthy' by continuing to play. Got it.

Stop putting words in my mouth. You have no idea what is wrong with him and you no idea if he will get healthy or not being two weeks longer into his healing process.

Players with injuries get healthy while continuing to play all the time. Injuries that do not require surgery heal over time even when a player plays. Without knowing what he is actually dealing with, none of us have any idea if he will get healthier, get worse, or just stay the same.

That was one of the most pitiful coaching exhibitions in memory.
This was like some of those Andy Reid/Dave Campo matchups back in the day.

See, we do, NFL puts out injury reports.
Ankle, toe, knee, hamstring.

I disagree. I am not afraid of KC at all. The Chiefs are the 2019 Patriots. A dynasty team that is running out of steam and living off its reputation rather than their actual abilities.

I think Maye is playing at a high enough level to give even the Texans fits. And home field helps younger playoff teams.

The Chiefs are yesterday’s news. They are not going to be there

Ankle, toe, knee, hamstring.

The Ravens have been hiding his injury all year. They already got in trouble for it once. And I don’t think they even list him on the injury report because he is a full participant at practice.

And I have never seen an injury report that says “Player X has an ankle injury that will require surgery in the offseason, he is going to play through the injury, but he will be at about 50% for the rest of the season”. If I missed that injury report, I would really love to see it.

I like the Patriots to beat the Texans in the playoffs. I think the Pats can beat anyone. But the Texans are probably more likely to upset the Pats in the playoffs than the Chiefs and I am talking before tonight’s game. Because it is unlikely the Chiefs make it now.

And I disagree with you. People said the same thing about us when we went to KC with Brady and wrecked them in the AFC Championship. They also said that when we went to Pittsburgh, and San Diego. I want no part of Maholmes in the playoffs. I'll roll the dice with Nix.

Not sure if the coaching or the execution was worse.
Mahomes two SB losses were due to poor blocking and they just lost both OTs again.

The Refs aren't protecting him anymore too.

Like Joe Burrow?

He darn near played the Pats game.
