It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Ya, I wasn’t suggesting signing him, just wondered in general if he can be productive somewhere. Kinda hard to judge based on the dumpster fire offenses he played in with NYJ and Cleveland.
Sadly owning any piece of even the worst NFL team is a license to print money.
I'd still rather get to the Super Bowl than not. Nothing is guaranteed.
In theory, Bill could've tagged him again in 2021, but both sides were too far apart, he was taking up cap space once tagged and Thuney was in control of any trade which players are now starting to realize. With that said, Thuney may have come back had Bill been more aggressive in FA. Former players have said Bill sometimes waits until the 11th hour to make a push and by that time Thuney had already made up his mind to sign with KC. Akiem Hicks was another player that said Bill ****ed around too long.
The Shaq Mason extension was probably the weirdest signing for an OL since Max Lane/Todd Rucci.
Hell of a reinforcement..
Hicks was awesome and would've been a great player to retain, but was left to walk over peanuts. His reasoning was that he was low balled in the beginning. By the time Bill contacted him again, Hicks liked the idea of playing an end in a 3-4 in Chicago as opposed to DT in 4 man front in NE.Letting Hicks walk was a terrible decision.
Isn't it funny how a lot of Lineman that played with a lot of weight slim down after, and skilled guys that played all ripped up get chubby.Seems like he's dropped a bunch of weight. Doesn't look to be 320lbs anymore.
