We have had threads that have gone on forever like a thread that was hundreds of pages long and went on for literally years about a free agent LB/special teamer (Adam Seward) that the Pats never signed and that LB never did anything remarkable before or after that thread started. It is still a long running joke with long time posters.

Adam Seward was a running gag when I got here as were 'I don't care...' and RLKAG. I suspect they'll all be running strong long after I'm not running at all. Only time will tell if 'the steal of the draft' will have anywhere near the legs.

Never really got into the Simmons thread. In hindsight, it would have been a really stupid thing to do to trade down or trade up from the second round take Simmons over taking Campbell at 4. Simmons has been as injury prone as promised and not very good and Campbell has lived up to his draft spot overall. But I think at least at the time of the draft, there was at least an argument that the Pats trade down from four and pick up a lesser LT like Simmons or use the #4 on someone else and trade up to get a guy like Simmons.

Some of those threads you mentioned and the Seward thread were pretty ridiculous right off the bat. Of course I don't think I looked at the Simmons thread after it went one or two pages. So it could have gotten as ridiculous as fast and I just missed it.
