Baltimore is also a big test for every team who doesn’t play them regularly, they’re the only team that plays an option offense and they are unique. Corral Lamar, force him to pass from the pocket and he can’t pass against better backfields.

We don’t have a better backfield unless we’re playing man. Our zones need fixing.
At least we have two weeks to prepare for that offense.

@Bengals
Giants

bye

Bills
@Ravens
@NYJ
Dolphins
I'm thinking.... 10 wins is what gets us in.. if say by week 16 we have the AFCE locked up and really can't do anything to improve our overall position.. of course beating the bills a second time.

Then at that point I can see key guys resting. And we may drop the next Jets or dolphins game at that point it really wouldn't matter.

"...went with 3". That's 500 the rest of the way. We had 4 wins in 2023 and 4 wins in 2024. I'm predicting 12 in 2025. 12-5 is not bad football IMO. I'll be ecstatic if that were to happen.
A 3-3 finish to the season after a 9-2 start tho wouldn’t bode well come playoff time tho. You want to be hot at that this time of the year, not cold.

Heading into flu season and the Covid will be back.

All games are winnable, but Flacco gives the Pats scares. All but one of his losses were only one score games. Pats they've only beaten Wilson once since the Super Bowl win. Lamar Jackson is a pain in the ass. It will be on the road against a desperate team trying to win the division and make the playoffs. Bills will be desperate as well and treat it like a playoff game. Jets and Dolphins will have checkout by the last game. I'm going with 4-2.

Cincinnati because they can absolutely light it up offensively.. is IMO their toughest challenge left. However they have positioned themselves to be able to sustain a loss or two by how well they have played and winning this year. Get to 10 wins and let everything else fall in place.. 10 and your in.

You think the Cincy game is more of a challenge than the Bills and Ravens games?

My opinion:

1.) Bengals won't be easy at all and I THINK we see Burrow in this one. Only saving grace may be their porous defense. This is in Cincinnati though.
2.) NYG on MNF.....with the BYE week right after....gonna be tough. That Dart kid can play for damn sure....especially under the bright lights of national TV. Still....a home game.
3.) Buffalo while at home coming off a BYE...hmmmmm....
4.) Baltimore...it is in Baltimore....and we'll probably be playing them after they have dug out of their hole.....
5.) Jets....another tough game...the Jets aren't going anywhere and it will be after X-mas...NFL players just don't "pack it in"...they relish knocking teams down a peg or two!
6.) Dolphins...my only hope is that we have a play off berth clinched by then...and either the BYE is secured OR out of reach by then...thus rendering this game insignificant. I don't want to see Mike McDaniel trolling us by driving by a Boston bar!

I think 3-3 is realistic.....

You think the Cincy game is more of a challenge than the Bills and Ravens games?
I do. Even without Milt we still have guys up front that can handle the run.. Buffalo and Ravens offense is predicated off the run.. the Cincy game will test the secondary.. a game where cat coverage could finally be deployed..

I might agree that @CIN might be a harder game for us than vsBUF.
That sounds heretical (especially if Burrow is out) but it'll be a shootout, and those guys can score on anyone.
Our offense is the one that tends to take naps here and there, and our D does too.
I don't think the Bills are that impressive on either side. The one big caveat - is that Fields played his best game as a dual threat, and Allen and Lamar will be able to do 10x more than he did against us.

Understood, but Cincy is a historically bad Defense.
Can that D stop our O?
I have more faith that we will get stops on D than they will.
With Balt or Buff you have 2 MVP QBs that can take over games, regardless of matchups.
I would be disappointed with Balt/Buff losses, but could see it.
I would be more disappointed with a loss to Cincy, we are a much better team 1-53.

Oh for sure which benefits our offense. In the beginning of the season I had us splitting with Buffalo and losing at Baltimore.. if we play man.. we can slow the Bengals offense.. Flacco isn't a threat to run.. he wants to do everything from the pocket..

I'm saying offensively Cincy is a tougher out.. I feel we should put gonzo on Higgins and bracket chase..

The bills the plan will be to limit cook.. Kincaid is also out.. so that helps.

Baltimore slowing Henry and Marcus on flowers should be the match up..

Good points. I look at match ups.. gonzo on Higgins, bracket chase and keep an eye on thier TE who's pretty solid.

Flacco is a pocket passer.. as guys like Allen and Jackson you want to try to keep in the pocket....

I say get to 10.. secure the 10 win mark wich will get them in the playoffs. Of course you want to still try and win to improve position. Get to 10 and let everything fall into place.

If he doesn't play when we see bills again even better... read this peice..
