Makes sense that he misses Bengals and Giants and then after the bye is back for Bills. Will hurt against Bengals and Dart can move around well but Pats offense should put a lot of points up against both.
They have some good depth on the line at least but nobody than can replace his pass rush.

Surprised a bit because he came back in for 2 plays after injuring and looked fine.

He did return, though, didn't he? Or was it that he returned to the sideline but just didn't see the field? I don't really remember.

Ideally he gets through the whole season healthy but... With our schedule + expected playoff run, it's not the worst thing that a guy gets a month off at this point.

As long as he's back 100% recovered from this and all other ailments for the final push.

It’s technically never “the right time” for an injury, but it definitely happened at the best possible time for us; with Cincinnati, NYG & the bye week.
In theory, yes, but he's really the engine on that D-line. Any bounceback I expected from the pass rush once the guys got their legs back, well, meh. Hopefully it won't matter.

I think he did go back in for a couple of plays, with a high ankle sprain i think that was a bad idea. They say a couple of weeks but like hamstrings who knows.

Is this guy saying Williams will miss multiple weeks because he has a high ankle sprain

or

is he saying that if it's a high ankle sprain (speculating) then such sprains typically result in multiple weeks missed?

The first thing, the second thing's not exactly news.

Agreed, the latter is not exactly news which is kind of my question. Is Fowler breaking news or just throwing speculation out for clicks? It's not clear from his post.

Rest him.

Eh....they score points like crazy. I think not having him hurts them in that game.

And/or Durden time... Farmer too if he's ready to go...
The one play I watched Durden he had an incredible push and drove his guy back collapsing the pocket.
He cannot replace Milt, but it was an impressive play nonetheless,
Hope to see more of that.

Thats a big suprise. Bedard said he talked to vrabel and he made it sound like he would have played if it were a playoff game. Kinda sucks but the bills game is still 30 days away, think we can survive till then
