Once Drake Maye realizes that a 5 yard checkdown to Henderson can turn into a 50 yard TD, there will be an epiphany.
This might be the week for it. Tampa's Drop 8 had a lot of success last week, I wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn do the same thing with the garbage talent he has.

Kyle Williams says me too on a Drag - WR screen or Flare.

The Rats have also benefited from their former intern, Roger Goodell, being omissioner, we get hammered and they get a wrist slap.
Yep. The further we get from all that nonsense, the uglier it looks.

Well, if I were a Jets fan, I would be feeling pretty good right now. It will be a lot easier to deal with the pain of what's ahead this season. In just 3 short months, your team will be the focus of most of NFL Draft news until the end of April with those 3 first round picks AND two 2nds.

Glenn, with these 2 wins in a row, and one being without the CB and the DT, could be building a solid "them against us" culture that will serve them well in the future. Didn't they lose their first 10 games in their first year in Detroit? They will play us hard tomorrow.

The problem will be finding a QB. We have seen just how much of a crap shoot it is to find the right one. It is just such a hard position to play at an elite level, and so much of that skill set is so hard to determine before the draft. You HAVE to be lucky in the end. However, if the Jets DO get lucky and find the right guy, the Jets, Pats rivalry could reach heroic proportions come '27,'28, and the AFCE could be the toughest division in the league

Maye is used to relying on his deep ball, which is a thing of beauty. But if he learns to use Williams and Henderson right, he will be able to pick up chunk plays on short passes, too.
I expect Teams to start backing off: which opens up running lanes for Drake Maye too. Josh McDaniels seems to always have a smile of his face and we all know why. Our Offense Is not even at its' peak: we're just scratching the surface and look at the accomplishments already. Imagine a Young Stud TE to grow with Maye in 2026; the sky's the limit.

If the Pats can find another Gronk, I don’t know if I will be able to handle the joy,

But I’m willing to try.

Maybe they can Trade for Sam Darnold j/k: I would say the 2026 Draft does not look like a good year for QB's. They'll probably be Drafting in the Top 10 for a while so; if I were them I would try to find a stop gap QB in the interim. Not that I want to help them but I think a guy like Davis Mills could work if Houston wants to move him...Mills is decent.

I don't know if we will ever see another Gronk in our lifetime. The GOATTE, for me.
To get another Gronk he would need to have a red flag of some sort, because a healthy Gronk goes #1 overall.

Maybe BB’s best draft move by trading up ahead of the Ravens for him.

A lot of the resident draft experts were upset with the pick. They wanted Sergio Kindle.

It's the Jets, we already know what will happen.
5 first round picks the next two years, they'll maybe get one O-line or D-lineman out of it, and a skill player, and completely whiff the rest. They literally just did this.

In fairness and retrospect, as good as Gronkowski was, the knock on him coming out was that he was made of glass.

He was made of glass. *shrug* Still worth it. (And I was not a Sergio Kindle guy haha)

I can't believe how Harrold Fannin Jr and Oronde Gadsden II translated in year one. I thought Gadsden was more WR than TE but he's having heck of a year with Justin Hebert. Not gonna lie I'm a little jealous.

Yeah I remember sad.

Not gonna lie, I'm not surprised you are a little jealous, PF2.

I would take poor man's Gronk about now..

Tyler Warren probably my favorite, would have been ok with him at #4 last year. But a franchise LT more valuable.

Kenyon Sadiq worthy of consideration with our 1st round pick if available.
