Much better. Not even close.

I wasn’t too familiar with Drake London but after seeing him live I sure am now.
Me too..

lol. You’re slandering boney. Three defenders went up with him and tipped the ball so it barely hit his fingertips. But don’t let truth disrupt your narrative.

I think Moss makes that catch, and that was the reference being compared to.

A win is a win, there are no style points in the NFL..
A lot of bumps in the road today, but at the end of the day nothing else matters except this W.
you mean power rankings doesnt matter?
Seriously? At midfield, 30 seconds left, you absolutely go for the throat. Unless you're cowards. And being cowardly generally doesn't work out too well in the NFL.
cue herm edwards… plus didnt they have all their timeouts?

A different way to win this week. It's good to win all types during the reg season. sucks to be their kicker
To keep the little lady happy I kept flicking back to Family Feud during the game. When Atlanta scored the TD I flicked over and then said, "wait, maybe they'll miss the extra point" so I quickly flicked back. Bingo. We've got Bingo. We win again baby.

The only negative for me was losing the score prediction when the Falcons scored the last TD. I had 24-17 and if they didn't score on 4th down the game probably would have been scoreless the rest of the way.

My thoughts are that I hadn't notice that Landry and Chaisson are no longer on the team.

We have two excellent EDGE players pressuring the QB.

Of course, having THREE top pass rushers is the key to victory. NOT!

We can always use another top pass rusher. The issue is availability, cost and priorities. I well understand that posters think that they can get a Chaisson quality player for $5M a year and a 6th. We'll see where we are on Wednesday.
You right we don't need any pass rush rush help.. silly me.. what's Vrabel even thinking calling around..

Much better. Not even close.
They really relied too heavily on aging vets.

We have a few, but not to the point where we have no young players to balance it out. Other than Moses/Diggs, most of the guys we signed are still in their mid to late 20’s.

Washington basically put one big band-aid on their problems, and the bandaid washed off in the water this year.

Who ever suggested a one year rental?

But the point is this team has the best record in the NFL, of course it is a contender.
I remember some of your posts before the season and you were the only person I remember that saw this possibility.
You were correct when you said that they had some talent. Kudos

Somebody asked how the Packers lost to the Panthers:

We lost because we missed a FG in the red zone, turned the ball over on downs in the red zone instead of kicking a FG on 4th and 8. Love threw a interception and we fumbled in the red zone. We also gave up 162 yards rushing on defense, 5 holding penalties and 4 plays resulting in Loss of yardage. It was awful plus the Tucker Kraft injury. Now I dont think were that good and our season is going to spiral. Philly at home on MNF will be a loss.

I hope this is a joke.
Why in the world would you give a ****?

But since you do... my wife has been disabled since 2010 and one of the few things she enjoys now is certain tv shows. So I tape the games when they conflict because I know I can rewatch them if I need to.

Now you can go back to your trolling asswipe.

Because in a vacuum sans explanation it's a really odd thing to post.

That explains things.

Now you can go back to your trolling asswipe.

Understand that context helps, you told half the story on a football fan site and got a predictable reaction. If you feel offended, that's entirely on you.

Tony Massaroti said he wasn't impressed with Maye yesterday. Thought Maye was past throwing stupid picks and fumbling.

Cry me a river Penix and Morris. The play clock was running down it was less than two seconds left when that ball was snapped. Not like it was snapped with 10 seconds on the clock. No idea why Penix was not ready for it, was he going to get a delay of game penalty? The real issue was the right guard not reacting to the ball being snapped or Milton Williams moving on the snap. That was their second back up guard in the game and he played like it on that snap. Loser mentality to talk like this after a loss, this is why Morris might not survive the year. Be shocked if he is back next year, that is not a well coached team even though they played much better than I expected yesterday. Even with that, they were dominated in the first 3 quarters of that game. The game was only as close as it was due to turnovers and Boutte getting hurt. Really impacted the passing game.

I finally got a chance to see this play in its entirety, this afternoon.

The reason the right guard, Gwyn (Lindstrom was out), did not react at all to the snap, is because he was literally looking back at Penix waiting for the signal to tap Neuzil. You can see that Gwyn is not even in proper stance, he's leaning way to his left, left arm on his left thigh and he is looking away from the line. He doesn't even look up until after Williams blows by him.

In a noisy game in an away game and on a very critical down, the center has only one cue to snap, and that is going to come from either the right or left guard, nothing and nobody else. This is 100% on Neuzil, who for reasons known only to God, decided to just snap the ball. I may put 5% of the blame on the fact that it was Gwyn there rather than Lindstrom, and Neuzil may have decided it was too much for him to trust a backup RG on such a critical down.

Here's the funny thing; you can see Tavai make a sudden gesture with his left arm which may have frightened Neuzil into thinking the motion was already across. Tavai's gesture and Neuzil's snap is a bang-bang sequence.

But what's even more funny about this particular play is that it inadvertently uncovered just how much of a ****show the coaching is when the HC doesn't even know what the snap count protocol was supposed to be for that play. Penix was never going to clap on that snap. The cue was going to be his left ankle coming back down.

Need more of this nasty stuff.

Considering the uncertainty before the year started it is great to know we are now the highest odds of making the playoffs at 96%. More than any other team.

11 wins has been 100% playoffs, 10 wins makes it a high percentage but not always.

Jets twice, Dolphins, Giants should be 11. Good times. 5th best odds to win the Super Bowl.

DEN didn't make the 1985 playoffs at 11-5
NE didn't make the 2008 playoffs at 11-5

Sure, Vrabel should get us an upgrade to Ponder or Jennings if he can at a reasonable price.

Are you suggesting that this is a HIGH priority for Vrabel?

Perhaps he has not made calls regarding RB, FB, TE, WR, OG, DE, CB, NB and S.

I actually liked some of the quick game stuff they attempted. It didn’t all work, but if they can clean it up and execute better in the future, it’ll pay dividends. I can see slip screens to Henderson being nice chunk plays in the future.

Drake has been good throwing deep, and good when he has time, but he hasn’t done a whole lot of just taking the ball and getting it out really fast for a quick few yards. Need more of that; feels like it would help prime McDaniels’ offense a bit more.
