It's no 28-3, but losing on a missed extra point is pretty excruciating.

Missed extra point, intentional grounding, punting from near midfield with less than 2 minutes to go and only 2 timeouts.

Very Atlanta way to lose.

Wild game but good to somehow, someway, get a win.

Agreed. These types of games last few seasons were guaranteed losses. Thing's of note to mention:

Does Barmore have a sack on the season? Serious question?

Kyle Williams isn't on the same page with drake! Wide open he runs the wrong way.

The offense was stuck in a rut when Boutte left the game.

Hopefully gonzo is ok. Kurh is going to have to really realize zone coverage isn't helping the secondary.

We need to trade for a pass rusher seriously.. kavon Thibiduaux please!

Just on the long developing plays and Maye taking too many sacks. Chism would help that, but how do you take out Diggs or Pop. I don't want Maye to give up on the deep ball, but a bit more dink and dunk would slow down the pass rush.

also, Pop Douglas - one of the best deep threats in the league. Who'd have thunk?

He's been doing that on every catch so far this year, it's bizarre, you're not the only on that's noticed it. It's weird.

Boutte, Gonzo missing significant time will absolutely hurt this team. I think I’ve seen about enough from Williams this year. Kid can’t find his ass with both hands in the route concepts.

This could very well be 5 weeks out given how long that hammy tweak took him.

Frustratingly, had he caught that INT that play never happens

True but you can't argue with the logic that a weapon like that would make a major difference for the offense.

In fairness, a punt would likely pin us deep and we hadn’t done a good job moving the ball in the 2nd quarter. They had the 2 minute warning as a timeout too. If they’d have stopped us on 3rd down they’d have got the ball back and would have been confident of getting enough yards in time to kick the winning FG.

I did think they would and should have gone for it, but the way the game was going, I can kind of understand why they punted.

no, and the reason why is we had the lead... we didn't need to score, just hold on... one first down, the game is practically over because they had two time outs... two first downs, it is over... They are on the road, have been making plays all second half... Punting told his team that he doesn't believe in them...

It was the wrong call by Morris... If you don't convert, game is over, but **** happens, at least you tried... but if you do... if you do convert, you win... you have then just stuck a dagger in the heart of the team that has haunted your franchise for nearly a decade now...

Because strength of victory is a tiebreaker, and the Pats have the easiest schedule in the league.

Don't want to get too into it... But thoughts.

Maye with a bad game. It's okay.
Oline needs to get better, they were doing better earlier in the year I think. Last 2 games no good.
The run game has improved recently, I will credit the oline for that. But part of that is they are running to the outside, which leans more on TEs/WRs than the interior of the OL.

The LB play has improved. Even without Elliss out there they were giving less space and limiting yac.

I love seeing Tonga in as a FB.

This run D is among the best in Patriots history, including those championship years. As long as they can stop the run like this they can limit offenses enough to have a chance every game to win.

Henderson has really looked pretty good recently. Love to see it.

Let's give credit to Pettus and Woody this game. They played well.

Low penalties were key this game. Being 0-2 in turnovers killed all the margin for error. Also those 2 drops into hurt badly.
