It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Missed extra point, intentional grounding, punting from near midfield with less than 2 minutes to go and only 2 timeouts. It's no 28-3, but losing on a missed extra point is pretty excruciating.
Agreed. These types of games last few seasons were guaranteed losses. Thing's of note to mention:Wild game but good to somehow, someway, get a win.
I need to follow your lead; married 15 years and I still continue to try to argue. The TKO was invented for morons like me who don’t learn…Not sure if it counts but I start out there every time I even think about disagreeing with my bride. Then I just stay down and keep my damn fool mouth shut. Big time (and punishment) saver really, starting where I'm going to end up
But.... but... we don't need a player like that according to some wr talk I've seen on patsfans.com...Big win. Had to play till then end. Hope that Gonzo is back next week.
Pats need a game changing player like London to help Drake next season.
Curious thing about Pop. Twice now, when he's caught long balls he then proceeds to stumble all over the field. He stumbled three times after the catch on the 58 yarder today. There was a play similar to that earlier in the year. What's that about?Just on the long developing plays and Maye taking too many sacks. Chism would help that, but how do you take out Diggs or Pop. I don't want Maye to give up on the deep ball, but a bit more dink and dunk would slow down the pass rush.
also, Pop Douglas - one of the best deep threats in the league. Who'd have thunk?
Yeah, London single-handedly won the game for....oh.But.... but... we don't need a player like that according to some wr talk I've seen on patsfans.com...
He's been doing that on every catch so far this year, it's bizarre, you're not the only on that's noticed it. It's weird.Curious thing about Pop. Twice now, when he's caught long balls he then proceeds to stumble all over the field. He stumbled three times after the catch on the 58 yarder today. There was a play similar to that earlier in the year. What's that about?
@TommyD4207Agreed. These types of games last few seasons were guaranteed losses. Thing's of note to mention:
Does Barmore have a sack on the season? Serious question?
Kyle Williams isn't on the same page with drake! Wide open he runs the wrong way.
The offense was stuck in a rut when Boutte left the game.
Hopefully gonzo is ok. Kurh is going to have to really realize zone coverage isn't helping the secondary.
We need to trade for a pass rusher seriously.. kavon Thibiduaux please!
KW can't find his @ss with both hands.Boutte, Gonzo missing significant time will absolutely hurt this team. I think I’ve seen about enough from Williams this year. Kid can’t find his ass with both hands in the route concepts.
Gonzo…
This could very well be 5 weeks out given how long that hammy tweak took him.
Frustratingly, had he caught that INT that play never happens
Edit: Ellis also knocked out. He isn’t great, but we have NO depth
True but you can't argue with the logic that a weapon like that would make a major difference for the offense.Yeah, London single-handedly won the game for....oh.
no, and the reason why is we had the lead... we didn't need to score, just hold on... one first down, the game is practically over because they had two time outs... two first downs, it is over... They are on the road, have been making plays all second half... Punting told his team that he doesn't believe in them...In fairness, a punt would likely pin us deep and we hadn’t done a good job moving the ball in the 2nd quarter. They had the 2 minute warning as a timeout too. If they’d have stopped us on 3rd down they’d have got the ball back and would have been confident of getting enough yards in time to kick the winning FG.
I did think they would and should have gone for it, but the way the game was going, I can kind of understand why they punted.
I'm guessing SoS. We're tied with the Broncos on inter-conference play. How is it we won today and also fell from 2d to 3rd seed?
Literally almost did... glad gonzo is ok.Yeah, London single-handedly won the game for....oh.
Because strength of victory is a tiebreaker, and the Pats have the easiest schedule in the league. How is it we won today and also fell from 2d to 3rd seed?
