Finally get a game that starts the way we hoped and then it turns into a cardiac episode...

Good win even though it was ugly. I will take it any day , however lots to learn from.
Injuries are a bit of a concern today. Hopefully Boutte and Gonzo are not out for long. We need everyone against Tampa !!

Mayes play started going down hill after his first fumble, it really seemed to affect him.

As my Mom would say: Closer than butt cheeks. Drake London did our secondary with no lube.

Also, thank GOD for Raheem Morris.

Context is important. With the way our offense was playing. They had reason to believe they could get the 3 and out.

Boutte, Gonzo missing significant time will absolutely hurt this team. I think I’ve seen about enough from Williams this year. Kid can’t find his ass with both hands in the route concepts.

Gonzo…

This could very well be 5 weeks out given how long that hammy tweak took him.

Frustratingly, had he caught that INT that play never happens
He got out worked by London on that play. Should never have happened he had first hands on the ball. He needs to get stronger.

Took care of business, can’t be mad about that! 7-2 is a really good place to be.

Onto tampa, boutte’s loss was really huge. Hope we get him back soon

Edit: Ellis also knocked out. He isn’t great, but we have NO depth
This the the post game thread not the GDT.

Wasn't pretty 2nd half but a huge win, gotta be able to win when you don't play your best.

I'm concerned about being able to function without Boutte though, i think we need a WR, injuries are inevitable if Diggs or Douglas go down we're going to be unable to get anyone open.

Williams looks like he's playing DB he's always that tightly covered.

That's going to be the difference in games for a long, long time to come, hopefully.

We have Mike Vrabel, they have Raheem Morris. He ****ed up at the end of the 3rd quarter too.
I was shocked he punted at the end instead of going for it on fourth down. But the team was in a tough spot on the field. All they needed was a field goal, and morris had been tacking chances all game long

Last year we were 2-7 at this time…let that f***in sink in for a minute. Enjoy the win.

Absolutely. Not putting the game away, making mistakes and still winning ... Take that over last year!

If they had 3 timeouts I would have understood it. 4th and 20, throw a jump ball to London, take your chances, there's no difference there turning the ball over to NE where they were on the field, and getting 40 yards of field position at that point. Patriots play it exactly the same either way.
