You can really see the relationship McDaniels and Maye have here. It’s almost parental at times. Maye definitely looks disappointed in himself early in the game because things are very tight and they don’t have much production. Josh is up super close, basically in his lap, reassuring him about things, and Maye seemed to be appreciating it. Obviously it all paid dividends.

Diggs also looks great here. He seems to have a great relationship with McDaniels as well and McDaniels seems to lean on him as a leader quite a bit. The line at about two-thirds in from Diggs - “let’s go break their will” - cold.

We got something special going on here. Is McD gonna drive us crazy sometimes with dedication to the first down run up the gut? Probably. But Drake was right. Born to be an OC and the two of them should be together here for 15 years.

It really is striking how Diggs is Josh's captain. They guy he turns to to make sure the message is spread to the players.

Josh said like 2 weeks ago during his media interview.. his family is very comfortable living in Westwood. Josh has generational wealth courtesy of the Broncos and LVR ownership. He should resist the temptation should it exist of being a HC again. He's likely going to be compensated well as an OC next season and he's a big part of Drakes development..

McDaniels is fairly toxic as a Head Coach... two bites at the apple, both teams imploded during his tenure... Great OC, lousy HC...

I liken him to Steve Spagnuolo, KC's DC... same thing, you want him as your DC not as your HC...
