They have the parts on defense to matchup with anyone. Maye is playing well. The only thing that will hold them back are injuries.

KC, Denver and LAC are going to beat each other up.

Colts face KC, @Pittsburgh, Houston twice, @ Seattle, SF, and Jacksonville twice

The schedule looks too easy for the Pats. It's happening!

They don't face anyone in that caliber in either conference. The NFL is a far cry to what it used to be. Many team fan base's can make a case why they have a chance.

I still go into every game expecting the unexpected like 2001. Each week I was asking when the Pat's Cinderella season was going to end? In fact, the Pats had some luck along the way as they needed an Oakland collapse to get the #2 seed. Going to Oakland in the Divisional Round probably ends their season.

It took me until 2003 to finally get over Bledsoe and believe Tom Brady was the QB of the future. I think the team is good enough to compete and the schedule is to their advantage. We'll see if they can capitalize on it like the 2001 Pats did going a whopping 9-1 against teams under .500.
I remember it well. The way we started that season with drew.. then seeing that evening on the news that he was at mass general.. I then knew it wasn't good. But then young Brady came in and wich each game got better and better and more comfortable as the starting qb. To your point you make a great case for this season.. the injuries to teams like Baltimore, TB doesn't have thier 2 best players, it's wide open this season for sure.

In 2001 though we had the Greatest Show on Turf.

Pats lost in the regular season then beat them in the SB that started it all.

Ricky Proehl knew.

“You’re witnessing the birth of the next dynasty baby!”

Could that be considered the Butt Fumble of prognostications?

He was SO right.

So who is our Greatest Show on Turf?

My immediate reaction is ridiculous. But I recall a week or two ago scoffing at someone's ranking of the Colts and Seahawks ... and re-thinking that. It really seems like a parity crapshoot.

I love the Breakdowns by JT O'Sullivan and Kurt Warner. Warner was very critical last year of the spacing of AVP's High School Offense. McDaniels is scheming guys open also nice route combinations. As pointed out by both a few times Maye ran though positive: he had guys open if he went through his progressions. It's ok to be Check Down Charlie sometimes Maye.

Yes and no.

When the Revolutionary war began, there was no official uniform for the Continental army because there wasn't even an army since the British ruled the colonies. So, the Continental soldiers wore what they had including red coats as in this reenactment. There was no money for uniforms anyway. The red coat Continental soldiers fought on the front lines and the sharp shooters and snipers fought out in woods wearing drab everyday work clothes that blended in with the landscape.

Perhaps the person who made the Browns vs Pats pic was trying to mesh the Patriots old school red home jersey with the past. That's what I surmised.
Triumph says: "Oh crap, screwed up again. Quick, gotta Google something lame to save face and make it look like I knew what I was doing!"

The facts:

After a few months of campaigning the earliest uniforms were already worn out; while there were also shortages of brown cloth. As a result, many regiments used the colors of blue or gray instead. This increased when in the spring of 1778 a shipment of blue coats arrived from France. This may have influenced Washington’s decision to issue a General Order that formed the basis for the first American dress regulations. The infantry were to be clothed in dark blue with different facings and distinctions to denote the states from which the soldier came.

Browns D played the Packers tough. That Packers offense is FULL of impact play makers. This will be a challenging game. Even at home. Pats need to put up 17 to win IMO
Other than Jacobs who in that offense is an impact playmaker? Jayden Reed been on IR since September.
They are overrated and their claim to fame is their 2023 playoff run. They should've beaten the 49ers in the divisional round. They've been mediocre since.

Why?

Zappe can run an offense and has won multiple games as a starter on bad teams.

There aren't 100 better QB's than Zappe, which probably represents close to the number of QB's on NFL roster and practice squads.
Did you count the 100 QBs? He's on a practice squad. Let's not get to ahead ourselves here. If that is the case why didn't he remain here? He couldn't even beat out Jacoby Brissett.

There was a conflict between him and Mac, and it looked like it was Zappe's fault, so they cleaned house. Let's face it. The team was poorly run.

How many teams are there and how many teams have at least 3 between practice squad and roster? A few must have 4.

Zo was at his finest on Patriots All-Access. "Myles Garrett. He's a home-wrecker, isn't he?"
