In today's episode of Jete gotta Jete, the owner throws the starting QB under the bus (by implication the GM's gotta be there with him)
The Jete will never know success under Woody's ownership...

WTF????

That's Justin Frigging Fields he's talking about? We would have gladly given a first for him, and then drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. and had a Super team for the next 15 years!!!

I don't know if this true or not, but shouldn't the Colts wait to see if Jones doesn't turn into a pumpkin later in the season? I would let him play out the year and if he continues to play at a high level, franchise him and then sign him to a deal.

And look what Tua just got.

Lots of Cousins wannabes out there.

Yeah, I'd 100% play the tag card there.

NFL teams are desperate for QB stability. The cap hit for a 1 year franchise tag is also much higher than the cap hit on a multi-year deal.

If Jones works out, it will be a good deal.

If Jones doesn't work out, a different GM will be eating the dead money hit.

Yup. It's short-term, and definitely tradeable if he turns into a pumpkin. It's not like a Kirk Cousins situation, he's only 28.

Pretty sad that your dysfunctional owner throws players under the bus to save his own hyde.
Bostonians are tough sports critics because of our passion
Kraft has had his share of blunders but overall we are fortunate
We had the greatest dynasty in sports
He made a huge blunder with Mayo but took the blame and righted the ship immediately
Jets fans are cursed as they should be

Man, Cousins played that like a fiddle betting on himself and good for him. Don't hate the playah hate the game, he beat the owners at their own game lol

The #1 reason the Jets are a joke franchise, right there. Never change, Woody.
The previous owner Leon Hess was no prize either, the jests were just as bad under Hess's ownership.
Which just goes to show the jest are cursed, they sold their soul to beat Baltimore in the '69 super bowl.

It would be nice to see Jones battle Maye in the playoffs. Duke versus UNC. Big viewership in Carolina.

They're in the playoff hunt with a terrible QB. Tomlin has a low ceiling, but his floor is pretty high.

That's a rough hell for fans when it comes to the NFL. Their skill position drafting and ability to field a fighting defense has covered up the fact that they simply have lacked a solid QB since Roethlisberger, and their draft position rarely allows for them to reach for those potential franchise talents.

Daniels is out vs kc. So most likely the chiefs resurgence continues and the commanders continue crashing back down to earth.

You say this knowing Mariota already has a playoff win against the Chiefs.

Didn't even realize Mariota was still in the league lmao. I had forgotten the name.
