2026 Mock Draft Thread

You could substitute Isaiah World at 64 and Cayden Green at 95, and not lose a beat.

I don't think me and PFF are on the same page when it comes to the draft.

I can hear Mel Kiper now, "Manx has definitely lost his fastball taking Rhodes waaay too early. Maybe if he traded back a bit, he would have had the home-run but he's acting desperate, definite Jets vibe, Chris."

I wasn't going to share this one but thought it funny that PFF hated it so much. Still my final two picks in the 7th round were my highest graded do maybe that bumped Mel's draft grade up from an F to a D-.

Bad PFF grade is a compliment.

I tried to do a mock through PFSN, couldn't even find Jelani McDonald or Austin Sievereld on their board. Monroe Freeling was in the 400s.

I got David Bailey at 29, though, before giving up.

Freeling was about 150 5 months ago on PFSN and unless there is a mountain of media attention, OL just get pushed down until February. They are a bit understaffed because they are free/just ads site. Lew went 35 to 95 with the ACL news. That's a big update for them.

428 right now.

2 round mock from Ryan Roberts and Kyle Crabbs:

They have the Pats taking EDGE R Majon Thomas at 29 (ahead of David Bailey) and S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren at 61.

Substitute David Bailey at 29 and Jelani McDonald at 61 and I think it's a home run.

Players still available:

- OL Austin Siereveld
- OL Lili Fa'amoe
- DL Mateen Ibirogba
- EDGE Quincy Rhodes
- LB Jake Golday
- S Zakee Wheatley
- CB Chris Johnson
- CB Julian Neal

Just did a mock for fun. Ended up with the following

25 Denzel Boston - WR
60 Anthony Hill - LB
91 Keon Sabb - S
116 - Anto Saka - Edge
126 - Drew Allar - QB (be nice to have a back up like this... and if Maye misses some game he can show off and maybe be trade bait for a 1st or 2nd).
Then it was honestly a bunch of people i don't know... but i think most of us would be happy with this.

A Kiper-McShay-Mayock-Grid roundtable on draft night hosted by Rich Eisen would be truly outstanding television.

I could see it now:

Eisen: We're fortunate to be have as our guest today a fascinating and prolific internet draft authority: Off the Grid, also known as the Fanatical Yankee. I'll start thi,ngs off. Grid, what defensive backs do you like in this draft?

OTG: Well, I love Jason Verrett's verticity. And for a small guy, his Combat Skills are remarkably adept. Unlike Lamarcus Joyner, I think I'd trust him outside as well as in the slot. And I like Bashaud Breeland's trajectory, even though his skills are kind of raw. He's heavy on Potential and raw on Established Capacity.

Kiper: WTF are you talking about?

OTG: That's turn and burn acuity, Earthling. The #1 key trait in a DB. And football is warfare - never forget it. And it's all about TRAJECTORY. Christ, you've been doing this for like 30 years, and you don't know the basics?

McShay: Right. Very insightful. Grid, how would you characterize Bradley Robey?

OTG: Well, Robey reminds me of Vontaze Burfict, Lunatic & Madman. A guy with 1st round talent who bought into his hype and and a result has taken on water. But the skill set is top 10.

Kiper: Taken on water? What in God's name does that mean?

Mayock: Hey, one kid I really like is Kyle Fuller from Virginia Tech. What's your thought on him?

OTG: He's bereft of natural talent, but he's made himself into a Gryphon/Raptor hybrid who's upside could be MYTHICAL. His Processing Speed and ability to react to the Tactical Landscape are the stuff that LEGENDS are made of. Darqueze Dennard is another guy in the same category.

Eisen: Umm, could we get security in here, please? I think we may have a problem ...

Funnily enough I'd hate that now. I find Kiper completely unwatchable and McShay isn't far behind. You have a good memory, I don't remember that at all.

Kiper is a pompous ass. He believes that anything he states is axiomatically true.

I find McShay pretty decent.

They're all a little full of themselves.

The problem with Kiper is that he turns everything into a list - and I mean everything.

Kiper is a fish out of water
