2026 Draft: WR

Bell had around 190 yards through 3 games when you said that (and when I called him my WR2). He's averaging 147 ypg in 3 games since then, with 5 tds.

Let him know where to send your check.

I'd settle for him telling other teams not to draft him so the Patriots can.

Why not both?

He's free to send me a portion of his signing bonus. He does owe me.

Still, he deserves some credit of his own. Last night was his real coming out party against a stifling defense and unbeaten team on national TV. You want to see how a prospect handles a big occasion rather than just racking up stats against less good teams. He absolutely passed that test. It's hard to know how people will rank the WRs in this outstanding class but that explosion/size combo is something no-one else in this class has.

Tyson goes up against Texas Tech today, Lemon against arguably the best CB in CFB in Leonard Moore and Brazzell against 'Bama. Big weekend for WRs.

They have now played the same amount of games. separated by a cigarette paper

Makai Lemon - 6 games, 44 catches - 682 yards - 6 TDs
Chris Bell - 6 games, 44 catches - 638 yards - 6 TDs

Only Ian Strong can catch them this weekend but he would need a 8-100+ - 3 TD day. Against Oregon.

Lemon in the 1st, Bell in the 2nd, Strong in the 3rd, screw the OL and defense.
It might lack that Julio Jones type X, but I think this might be the best WR group I've seen since I've been watching the draft. I missed the 2024 draft with Harrison, Nabers, Odunze et al.

WRs don't excite me the way OL and defensive players do, but this is a good group. Tyson comparable to Odunze as a talent, Tate a consummate route runner, Lemon a big play machine, Bell a beast. Boston, Brazzell, Strong, Concepcion, Daniels all solid. Lane, Bernard, Sarratt, Williams. Very deep and diverse group. Maybe not quite as strong as 2024 with the top 4, but deeper.

Carnell Tate has a very polished, nfl-ready game in all respects: route running, footwork, hands. He will step in and produce day 1.

He has upped his game considerably. I think he could be even better than Emeka Egbuka.

Tyson took over the final game winning drive.

Tate or Bell? I pity the guy that has to make that decision.

This might be the pond we'll be swimming in. Still good swimming though.
