Love the Deep throws: McDaniels is working with Pop Douglas deep. Thought Kyle Williams was that guy: but Pop Douglas is saying hold my beer.

With all due caveats, here’s what really amazes me.
Against Buffalo, running away from trouble and finding receivers from impossible angles on the move, he reminded me of a vintage Mahomes. Against New Orleans, stepping up in the pocket to avoid trouble but keeping his stance and composure, he reminded me of a vintage Brady. What an insane skillset for a 23-year-old.
Drake Maye has the "It" factor he's making plays the Defense just can't defend. Like the year when Brady had Randy Moss: pitch and catch. My comp for Drake Maye is Aaron Rodgers in his prime, minus the douch personality. 90% Brady, 90% Mahomes.
Best things to me are the speed at which gets corrects errors, and how much he has calmed down. I haven't seen a "Maye is wildly inaccurate, and overthrows his receivers" post on this board in 3 weeks, which is unprecedented.

SNF telecast halftime had a major Drake Maye puff piece, followed by a quick NE Patriots report predicting the playoffs.
Anyone else see it? What do you think?
I also prefer to fly below the radar, but games like the one they had against Buffalo inevitably put the Pats on everybody’s radar.Personally I prefer we slither along like a snake in the grass till we take down our next prey, but this world is full of people who get ahead by being frontrunners.
What has Jason Garrett done to deserve a stage? Come from the right school, have the right look, be a mediocre NFL QB and mediocre NFL coach is about all I can say for him, yet he keeps getting paid over and over again.
**** 'em.I also prefer to fly below the radar, but games like the one they had against Buffalo inevitably put the Pats on everybody’s radar.
This attention is the result.
It’s good to be back.
And it’s got to really annoying to 31 other fanbases.

LoL this describes what people are trying to do to Bill. You included. Fraudulent hypocrite.True, but my cynical side keeps screaming that we live in the "attention economy" era and so many people cash in just by saying "look at THAT!" be it good or bad.

82% should make everyone feel good - obviously that's factoring in strength of schedule as one wouldn't think of the Pats as having a better chance of making the playoffs than the Bills for instance, but indeed, that's what a tough schedule can do to you.
Given the Patriots season last year they're not really being seen out of market to this point so it makes sense to "introduce" Maye to a national SNF audience at a time when he's on a nice string of strong QB ratings on top of the wins

BTW - you gotta love the Jets with a 1% chance of making the first round of the playoffs!
Think about how the idea that the Patriots would be in the serious playoffs conversation six weeks into the season would’ve looked a month and a half ago…Clearly their algorithm is pretty baked.
Clearly it doesn't take into effect that Aaron Rodgers is the Squeelers QB...
And they really expect to see Daniel Jones and Mac Jones as Super Bowl QBs?

"****ass Chump"? Oooo, that's not good, I'm guessing.Yep, they pumped em so hard Maye's gonna need somebody to let the air out of his tires. Gotta kick outta Simms saying it took two years for him to get Gruden out of his ear. Dumbass, Gruden only 'got out your ear' because you weren't worth talking to you ****ass chump
