FreeTedWilliams, Sam, and The Captain are examples of general purpose haters. They are not Drake Maye haters, they hate most everything. They might post something about Drake that appears negative but that is how they post, not Drake specific hate.
I'm aware of how they operate and got nothing against it when it is "general purpose". Hell Captain is one of my favorite posters. But this was very targeted haterism by FTW for Maye and hilariously wrong takes and "analysis" of Maye's abilities. When that's the case he deserves to be called out on that nonsense same as anybody else.

As long as we run the ball enough to keep the defense honest, we will be fine. Maye is getting us out of any hole as long as he has time.

I think if you look at it closely our biggest struggle running the ball is when it’s a situation where it’s obvious we are going to run. Take those out and it’s not that bad, we just aren’t handling the sell out to stop the run
Our RBs averaged 2 yds/carry today on 22 attempts against the 15th worst rushing D in the league.
Our RBs averaged 3.1 yds/carry on 19 carries against Buff, 3rd worst rushing D in the league.
You can't sugarcoat it or explain it away to "obvious" running situations.
Our rushing offense has been bad, like really bad.

Kudos to Vrabel for that heads-up move to challenge that Boutte was downed inbounds on that last catch. That took time off the clock and got us to the 2 minute warning.

It was even better than that. It ended the game and put us in victory formation instead of having to have another live snap where something might possibly have gone wrong.

Vrabel's TN scoring D's ranked 3rd, 13th, 25th, 6th, 14th and 16th. So two very good years, one poor one and 3 middle of the pack. The offenses in TN were the weaker link. OFC the weakest link in TN was John Robinson and Miss Amy. Robinson got the gate in favor of the disastrous Ran Carthon. Miss Amy continues to drive Titans fans to despair, can't fire the owner
I enjoy it when my fellow posters pay attention and don't memory-hole everything.

Finally Pop Douglas has arrived this Season: so we might not need a WR that badly anymore. Pop showed signs last week: That said Chris Olave would be tempting he's a very good WR.

He IS a very good WR, but that concussion thing would make me nervous about giving up significant resources and cap space for a guy who could be gone with the next big hit.

Well sa

Makes them pretty sad really

Give it up to Stefon Diggs; he has been so instrumental in K Boutte's development. Boutte have 300yds already in just Six Games: he looks primed for a Big year. Drake Maye really trust him: the last Two WR's Drafted by BB is doing quite well for themselves. Who said BB can't Draft WR's?? Guilty *Left Hand up*.

OK I am not familiar with that specific case.

In reality the left side has been both the better run blocking side. We would've expected Bradbury, Onwenu and Moses to be the "stronger" run blocking side but they have all kinda sucked in run blocking. Definitely not what I expected, and something that feels fixable with reps and coaching.
I believe that's where players and coaches become limited because of the CBA rules with practice and camp now. Guys can't practice on things as much like the days where it was 2 a days, ect. Rham and Henderson are good backs.. they aren't getting help from the interior as you mentioned. Ultimately the running game is going to come to life.. I believe the passing game now has some deep pass play abilities that will force teams to respect it. That will open up the run game.

You know my feeling PF2, I think our collective pass catching group is more than capable.
If I could add anything it would be DE.
Our outside rush has been bad the past few games, and that was front and centre today.
Rattler had way too much time.
I definitely do DD. This has rounded into a much better wr corp than we have had in years.. yes even Vrabel and the coaches were saying how they are thin on the edges. Landry anc Chaisson are definitely dealing with something.. they have been good all year much better than what they showed yesterday. Yes rattler was to comfortable.. milt is dealing with something as well. This front 7 ia far talented to just allow a qb the time they did yesterday. This has to be a point of emphasizing this week.

And this is why you don’t write off a kicker after 2 games. Kid could end up being the answer we’ve been looking for since Gostowski.

Hopefully. 2 for 2 on the clutch kicks and both of them were drilled

In pass blocking I agree. The run blocking needs improvement.
In the entire game, of the non-Maye runs, there were 13 runs of less than 4 yards and 9 runs of 4 yards or more.

In the 2nd half it was mostly unsettling (non-Maye runs):
1st drive - 3yd run, 6yd run, 0yd run, 1yd run, -3yd run
2nd drive - 4yd run, 5yd run (3rd & 1 pass incomplete)
3rd drive - 4yd run, -1yd run
4th drive - -1yd run, -3yd run
5th drive - 3yd run

9 runs on 1st & 10.

It felt worse perhaps because -
All 8 of Maye's incompletions were in the 2nd half. 6 of 11 penalties in the 2nd half (4 in 4th qtr). The one sack of Maye (scramble) in the 2nd half. 1 fumble (recovered by Maye) in 2nd half.

3 points in the 2nd half.

Is this league and refs against us? They will not let us rise again, will they. The refs last night shocked me on how awful the calls where. Thank goodness Vrabel knows the rules.....
