Which made the decision to continue to run that much more perplexing.

No doubt their focus has been pass blocking but NO shouldn't be that tough a team to run on either
or Buff last week.
Our run blocking is pretty terrible no matter who we play.
Needs to improve quick.
Can't have Maye chucking it 60 times a game.

The Bengals lose another one... Pats pretty securely in the wild card standings at a minimum right now
Most likely. But KC isn't out till they are out IMO. Even if they lose today and go to 2-4. I will not believe they are out. Worthy and Rice are coming back. That team is more than capable of going on a run if they get right.

Right now Bills, Pats, Steelers, Indy, Jags, Chargers, Broncos are all 4-2 or better. That is 7 teams. If KC makes a run one will be sitting home. The only AFC team i believe 100% to be in is the Steelers. I don't see anyway they don't make it with that god awful division.

Tack those 2 horrendous PI calls on to Maye's totals and he has 400 yards passing.

If the league wants to add a superstar, dont ever do that to Maye again

KC can definitely make a push, but that will probably push the Chargers and Broncos down since they're all in the same division and the Chiefs have only played 1 out of 4 of those matchups. Indy and Jacksonville are also in the same division and have to play one another twice still. The Chiefs also lose the head-to-head against Jacksonville and LAC.

Pretty exciting to think that boutte and pop are still improving , Williams hasn’t really caught on yet. The passing game can get even better

Boutte is on pace for 852 yards. Would be legit #2 numbers
Those are #2 numbers... But Boutte in my mind is the ideal 3rd option. We get a 'prime Diggs like WR' in here... put in another top end pass catcher who is also explosive. Then here comes Boutte to clean up if you somehow cover both.

He can be your #2, but you don't want him to be.

Drake is going to go into Tennessee and get revenge for last season.

Happy to be wrong about not wanting Vrabel here. Best HC we’ve had in years since 2019 Belichick.

I dunno, Vrabel's turned it up a notch since he was with the Titans. That year off certainly had some good effects.

Maye is like a mixture of Brady, Montana, Favre, Allen and Mahomes.

Brady- Composure and poise. Playing in the same system he did.

Montana- Athletic ability

Favre- Ability to play backyard football if need be. Similar body type.

Josh Allen- Running ability. But not big enough like Allen to truck people over and withstand those kinds of hits over time.

Allen and Mahomes- short, intermediate and deep level vision when rolling out of the pocket.

Also, who's the other North Carolina Tarheel drafted 3rd overall? Hint, he played basketball.

Ideally yes hes a 3. Unless he takes another leap next year, we’ll see

So thoughts on the Saints... I said earlier i didn't think they were THAT bad. And, they aren't. They have some talent and some players and that showed today. They are 1-5, but they aren't as bad as that record says. They lost to the Pats, Bills, 49ers and Seahawks... All 4 will be in the playoffs. All 6 of their games were within 1 score at the end or going into the 4th.

I think we will look back on this win and feel better about it after the year has played out. This team will finish close to .500 i think.

Possible. I hope he does... but i have the feeling this is more or less his ceiling, which i'd be totally fine with.

It’s amazing teams didn’t have Drake Maye as a generational prospect. Best QB prospect I studied going back 10 years.
What’s been missing are the deep passes. A good college QB would make 40% of deep balls accurately, Maye was around 80%, might be best deep ball thrower in history. Finally had a chance to show some of that today.

I liked Maye’s pocket movement on that play.

His climb in the pocket was Brady-esque.
