In his last days as a NEP coach his coaching, draft, and FA choices were not good.

He would want to install his own offense/defense and require new personnel to run it. Not good.

Drop him into BUF, BAL or KC and I don't see those teams going to the next level with him.

Even the Cam season wasn’t good. I remember saying at the time it was Bill’s worst season as a coach in NE. The Denver game was lost from bad coaching. They got worse as the season went on and were also not competitive against good teams. Little did I know what was ahead…

Bill was on his way to get fired. Then Brady came on.

That's a pretty long reach.

BB was indispensable to Tom's development and realized his potential when Brady essentially outplayed Bledsoe during the 2001 preseason. It was just a matter of time before BB made the switch, only that a VERY convincing case had to be made for it considering Drew's veteran experience and what he was getting paid. Bledsoe's injury solved things in that regard, opening the door for Tom probably earlier than otherwise would've happened.
