2025 / 2026 College watch thread

Through 5 games Ohio St. has outscored their opponents 187-25. Their defense is giving up an average of 5 PPG.

There's no-one in CFB that plays with the effort Mesidor does. Officially my second binky.

Just watched the highlights from the Gators v Texas game. Pre game I was expecting Texas to win but Florida seemed to have played well and made some good plays.

Edit: wrong thread

College football is frankly much more interesting than the NFL right now.

The NFL sucks. So many bad teams. Bad play, bad effort, bad coaching.

There is no way so many professional teams should be this bad.

And the NFL doesn't care.

College football has gotten much more exciting. Any given Saturday.

3 Big Games this coming weekend:

7 Indiana 5-0 vs 3 Oregon 5-0
8 Alabama 4-1 vs 14 Missouri 5-0
1 Ohio State 5-0 vs 17 Illinois 4-1

I hope the Indiana v Oregon game is covered in the UK

Thanks , but I am a technophobe and dont want to dabble in VPN's etc. Last season Sky our service provider was showing 3 college games over a weekend but only 1 per weekend so far this season.....they are probably concentrating on the chequers world championships or some other bizarre sport.....lol

The 'Bama/Missouri game is a bit of a must watch this weekend.

Missouri have some very interesting draft names that aren't getting a huge amount of love yet but are performing very well so far this season.

1. OT - Cayden Green is, hopefully, back from injury for this game and LT/RT Keagen Trost is the highest graded SEC OL with an outstanding run blocking grade.

2. EDGE - Damon Wilson II and Zion Young both have 20 plus pressures and pass rush win rates above 20%

3. WR - Slot receiver Kevin Coleman Jr is second only to Makai Lemon in receiving grade and is tied with Jordyn Tyson for most receptions amongst leading WRs with 39.

I love College football day. I have no rooting interest so I can just enjoy the games for what they are.

Agreed, I am still struggling with remembering which players to watch and on what teams they play for ....this thread definitely helps.

Who are you all watching today?

Early slate - Alabama v Missouri (excited to watch Mizzou for the first time)
Evening game - Can't decide between Oklahoma v Texas or Oregon v Indiana
Late - Michigan v USC (need my Lemon fix) or Texas A&M v Florida

And if I can stay up as it starts at 3:30 am for me (doubtful) Arizona St v Utah.
