Browns- 0 49ers 0 early
Fish 3 Bungles 0
Falcons losing 7-0

Well just look at the standings

1-14 Dolphins - locked into #1 pick
3-12 jets
3-12 rams
3-12 falcons
---------------
4-11 ravens
4-11 raiders
4-11 chiefs
5-10 49ers
6-9 bengals
6-9 broncos
6-9 bears
6-9 panthers

If the 49ers lose today, the Patriots are locked into at worse the #8 pick.
If the Ravens, Raiders or Chiefs win, the pick can improve by as much as 3 spots to a best of #5 overall.

However if the 49'ers win, the pick could drop to as low as #12 assuming all the 6-9 teams lose, which is pretty unlikely. So I'm hoping for a big Browns win over the 49ers today, and if the Ravens, Raiders, or Chiefs win, then that's just a bonus.

Update:
Cleveland up 14-0 over 9ers
KC, Baltimore, and Oakland are all 4:15 games, so we won't know draft position for sure until the night is over.
But Cleveland winning will ensure us the minimum of the #8 pick.

The Browns are still up 14-0. But Derek Anderson just hurt his throwing hand and is headed to the lockerroom. They don't know if it's serious yet.

Oak, Kc and Balt are likely to lose so we won't be moving up. I'm not sure about the 6-9 teams opponent winning percentage but it's unlikely any are worse than SF so we are likely locked into #8.

Tampa has now allowed 31 points. Does that mean the Pats have allowed the least points this season?

I believe that last night they were saying that only a few teams have scored the most and allowed the least in the same season. '96 Packers was one of them.

I believe that last night they were saying that only a few teams have scored the most and allowed the least in the same season. '96 Packers was one of them.

The Steelers, Chargers, and the Colts all have given up fewer points than the Pats. The aforementioned still have a game to play.
