I'll give Max Johnson some credit for throwing it 37 times and not having an INT against this D.

I mean, down 32 points at the half its not like the Clemson D didn't know the pass was coming.

1 for 10 on 3rd down isn't great of course but he was in far too many 3rd and long situations - his receivers are about the same caliber of the defense.

I'd say he deserves another shot at starting - not that it matters given the mess the Defense is.

Clemson was 1-3 and a massive disappointment going into this game. This was supposed to be the measuring stick game that everyone looked at on the schedule at the start of the season to see if UNC could hang. Clemson is about as beatable as ever and still shellacked them.

Living in the Raleigh, NC area, I have a lot of friends who are UNC alumni. They were all excited when they signed Belichick. I warned them that he isn't the same guy he was during the dynasty era and if they were getting the guy he was his last few years in New England, they may change their tune quickly.
