Who said Patriots WR can't have success elsewhere?? Tyquan now Boure bucking that trend.

Tyquan plays with the best qb in the league, a guy shown the ability to raise up guys around him. Bourne had a nice game, but let’s hold off on crowning him a WR1. He’s also playing for a coach who might be the best offensive mind in the NFL. Certainly on the list.

What did he do here?
I posted K Bourne has never played with a Patriots WR of S Diggs caliber. McDaniels had good success with Bourne; Mac Jones Rookie year. McDaniels have shown he favors Vets and kept the Lesser WR Hollin instead...mind numbing.

While he's still limited, Mac Jones found a way to be 3-0. Rams DC was clueless not choking off the check downs.

As of today, Mac Jones still has a better winning % (.442) to Trevor Lawernce (.390). Can't wait to hear the excuses on that.

The Sean McVay offense is one of the most gimmicky in the NFL along with Mike McDaniel and Ben Johnson. How many times do you see WR's running out of the backfield through the OL like Nucua and getting a pick play and announcers acting like he's getting wide open by himself?

Hollins is a TE who lines up at WR. Let it go.

You know how much Snaps he gets' a game for those horrific stats?? Too much to keep count.

Who fekkin’ cares? Jesus Mary and Joseph man! I told you way back in spring he’d be a 300 yard guy and block his ass off.

They are throwing the ball 20 times per game. They aren’t going to have a fantasy stud this year. Get over it.

300 yds?? way to raise the bar Bourne already have 229 with 12 games to go. It's next to a miracle Maye have the stats he does: we have so many underperforming players on Offense. We'll see how we perform against a really good Team. Ps barefoot Hollins for his height and speed: nicknamed Tarzan plays like Jane.

The "haters" are a figment of the cult's imagination.

Absolutely nobody is happy that Bill has burned his own legacy to the ground over the past year on and off the field.
This.... We are just dismayed at how quickly he has unravelled. We were of the opinion that Brady wanted to leave and bill did everything right for the team .

But the last 5 years makes you question a lot more decisions especially Butler benching etc. bill was infallible when Brady, McDaniels, ernie and scar were around. After that it went out the door.

The fact that our talent cupboard is so dry is thanks to Bill . And I just feel the anger is more with what bill is doing to his legacy through off field antics that it's very difficult to support him as a person.

COaches especially when they are at bills age are revered and looked upon as father figures. That's probably clouding our views against bill at this moment. Maybe in 3-5 years when all these paparaZi news are out we start to bring back the reverence for Bill the coach from 2001-2020

That’s the New England way… people *****ed about Bill while they were winning. Same with Tito during his run with the Sox. They probably *****ed about Red when the C’s won all those back to back championships. People ***** about the coach or the manager all the time. It is what it is.
That hasn't always been the Patsfans way though and we should strive to be better

Tell me you don't understand what you're watching without telling me you don't understand what you're watching:

We're done here. I've entertained your constant WR bullchit long enough.

I can't speak to the overall history of PatsFans, but guys here complained about Bill while they were hanging banners. Guys complain about Cora, guys complain Neely and Sweeney (rightfully so) and guys complain about Mazulla. You can be a fan of a franchise and complain about coach/manager. The two are not mutually exclusive.

2 TDs in 2 games. Working as Intended.

100%
He's there to block and at the right moment get a pattern. McD putting on a subtle master class in using a player the right way to maximize his skill set

Steelers fans complaining about Tomlin and wanting him fired is a time honored tradition in Pittsburgh.

It's pretty clear that the PR machine pumped Bill up a lot and didn't give enough credit to the coaches you named as well as some player personnel people too.

The odd thing is that Bill didn't seem to notice their absence as they went to other places or retired year by year.

He just thought he could build out a coaching staff with whatever dudes he worked with in the past, regardless of the fact they were defense or special teams coaches who never coached offense. Then of course his choice to hire his own children suggests he didn't exactly beat the bushes when recruiting new coaches.

As for players, he apparently just thought he could watch Brady walk out the door and put the corpse of Cam Newton onto the field and his greatness would overcome all.

The fact that our talent cupboard is so dry is thanks to Bill . And I just feel the anger is more with what bill is doing to his legacy through off field antics that it's very difficult to support him as a person.

I think there's a few different ways to cope with bad drafts. I think there's very little ways to cope with no real succession plan for life after Brady or Josh.

COaches especially when they are at bills age are revered and looked upon as father figures. That's probably clouding our views against bill at this moment. Maybe in 3-5 years when all these paparaZi news are out we start to bring back the reverence for Bill the coach from 2001-2020

The thing is that he's displaying the same "pull things out of his backside" behavior at UNC that he did here, and the longer that situation festers the harder it will be for people to see Bill the way we once did.

We've seen Brady get beat up a whole lot worse and did not see any of the histrionics the 49ers displayed with Mac on the sideline last night.

I have no idea why 'histrionics' upsets people so much.

Pain is a thing, and different people handle it different ways.

But in today's NFL, I wouldn't want to draft a player like Smith or Darnold and lhave them perform like they are now. With the contracts for QBs, you need them to be either be a top 10 QB or a bust. Too many average to slightly above average QBs are getting ridiculous deals. Hell, even some below average QBs are too.

Spot on.

NFL heaven is having a top-5 QB on a rookie contract. Eventually you have to pay a fortune, but worth it for a Mahomes, Allen, Herbert.

Next best case is to bust, and re-build.

Worst situation is perpetual purgatory, over-paying for mediocrity. Lot of teams in that situation.
