I was thinking about that. I’d assume that a lot of the “ramping up” was done during rehab, before he was cleared to practice.I really hope they protect him from himself in slow burning this ramp up into play speed.
I still doubt he plays this week. You'd think they want to not jeopardize any longer term issue with a long season
Problem otherwise is that no player is going to dog it below full play speed if he’s on the field for a game preparation practice and the ball comes his way. Instinctscwillmtake over and he will go balls to the wall going for the ball. Thinking he can go at less than full speed just sets up reinjury.
