Get Rodgers off his spot is the key.
He can still make some plays rolling out of the pocket (he did in week 1), but he doesn’t move like he used to. Hit him and he will fold.

They aren’t looking all that great in Pitt. Hope we don’t break the streak. Obviously, Gonzales playing would be huge for the defense. Not gonna lie, TJ Watt will be a big test to see how they handle premier front 7 challengers. Didn’t fair too well vs Crosby in week 1 but we’ll see what they do and hopefully have made some progress since then. Every game brings more experience

Rogers will pick apart this defense if they play zone. They need to continue to pressure the QB. They need to get CB1 back and play man. Rogers won't be running much. Except from Williams....

They really looked like garbage yesterday after looking like world beaters week one. Still really early in the year and like the Patriots I diont know if they’ve found a true identity outside of Rodgers on offense and Watt on defense

Defense is averaging 4.5 sacks.
And it's the only stat that matters. I don't want to hear how many times they "pressured" a QB where you don't know what the outcome is. Putting him on his ass for a sack is a guaranteed negative play. Pats currently lead the league in sacks with 9.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-1, and their defense has been nothing short of abysmal.
This season marks the first time the Steelers have allowed 31+ points in their first two games since 1989, per Gerry Dulac. The Steelers are also 29th in yards per game and have allowed the fourth-most rushing yards through two weeks. On top of that, the Steelers have also allowed the most first-quarter points in the NFL dating back to Week 1 last season.
The defense was supposed to be the strength of the Steelers, as it is usually billed as such. But after the additions of Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay, among others, Mike Tomlin said the defense could be “historic.” Well, right now, it’s on pace to be historically bad. And for the highest paid defense in football, it’s more than unacceptable; it’s pathetic.

Sunday's loss was more of the same for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The offense was inconsistent, the defense was nonexistent, and head coach Mike Tomlin downplays the whole thing. Pittsburgh fell flat against the Seattle Seahawks, losing 31-17 at home, falling to 1-1. It has become an exercise in frustration to see a Steelers franchise with such a storied past being stuck in a rut for so long under Tomlin. It's something the fans have been quite vocal about for years, and on Sunday, they cranked up their anger to 11 after the loss.

The Steelers haven't won a playoff game since 2016 and have only won three playoff games in the last 14 years. The one constant during all of this has been Tomlin and the fans know this.

It appears outside linebacker Alex Highsmith avoided a significant injury in the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Highsmith departed during the first half of the contest with an ankle injury and was originally deemed doubtful to return before eventually being ruled out.
For a Pittsburgh defense that's been hit hard by the injury bug over the first few weeks of the regular season, the news that Highsmith's ailment won't keep him out for an extended period of time is extremely positive news.
Through two contests thus far, Highsmith has logged a total of nine tackles and a sack while seeing the field for 67 defensive snaps.
Highsmith is all but certain to miss the Steelers' Week 3 game against the New England Patriots and will likely remain out beyond that as his return timeline is still up in the air, but avoiding IR is a best-case scenario for all parties involved.

I've asked Steeler fan friends what they thought of Rodgers. All but one of them hated the signing and don't want him in Pittsburgh. Surprised me.

Home field advantage isn’t what it used to be in the NFL, generally speaking. The parity they want is getting closer to reality.

In this game the Steelers are 1.5 point favorites. That’s what they think. If CB1 comes back then it’s not going to be so easy on Rodgers, even with limited snaps.

Can someone pipe the broadcast into Tomlin's headset again? I missed his reaction in realtime last time and wanna see it again. Lol

He's like the douchebag version of John Wick without any of the killing people talent.

Seen alot of Pittsburgh. They’re in a bit of turmoil right now, fans slowly more and more are turning on Tomlin.

Their Defense has played 2 really bad games. The Seattle loss was alot worse than it looked on the scoreboard and that wasn’t good either. Barely beat the crappy jets. Cant really understand why its such a bad d, i believe its the most expensive one in the league. but i hear alot of fans hate the dc teryl austin. The key players are aging and probably past their prime but they still should be better than they are. I would hope we can run the ball even better this week because they haven’t stopped the run. Ramsey has been getting toasted quite a bit but its still a lil dangerous thinking of Drake throwing his way. Ramsey did snatch a pick yesterday. They have alot of injuries on that side too. Highsmith, porter jr, loudermilk, elliott (might see old friend j peppers). We have to take advantage of this unit.

Offensively, rodgers has been sacked 7 times so far. Thats alot, i actually wish we drew them later on because i felt like he’ll eventually break down. But yesterday it may have already happened lol we’ll see. He threw more than the 2 picks on the sheet but got lucky on some. Their only great player on offense is metcalf. Still a bit worried because our defense has not been good especially the lb’s. They have friermuth at te and warren at rb who can catch so they could pose threats for us, but theyre not bowers and achane.

I think its a toss up, might depend on whether week 1 or week 2 rodgers shows up. Thing i hate about Pittsburgh is they will score automatically one they hit our 45 or so, boswell is automatic, maybe the best after the cowboys kicker.

What's that even mean?

Everyone looks like world beaters playing the Jets
