Time to ask a very obvious question: Is Joe Burrow made of glass/injury prone? He's a great QB when he is on the field. But availability is critical for a QB.

Parker Romo got his start yesterday for the Falcons after they benched Koo for his week 1 performance. Romo was 5/5 and hit a 54 yard FG. I thought Romo out did Borregales in preseason but I dont think the staff wanted to take the hit on cutting Borregales after they drafted him. It will be interesting to see how both guys season goes. I hope in the end Borregales is the right decision.

If he keeps ballin like this, I’ll have to start calling him EA Sports

Cincinnati is a textbook 'stars and scrubs' team. A big reason he's injured all the time is that his OL has sucked his entire career.

I think some of it has to do with the Bengals don't know how to build an offensive line. Burrow has taken more hits in the five years and two games he has been in the league than Brady probably took in his first ten years.

Is it too late for Hendrickson lol

I bet the Bengals now wished they traded Hendrickson when they could rather than give him a contract that makes him untradeable this year and potentially lost to free agency next year. If they find a trade partner before the trade deadline, the Bengals are going to get nothing in return since Hendrickson is only on an one year deal and cannot be signed to a long term contract because he already redid his deal once this NFL year.

I think they are projecting out his future vs. "winning now". He is young, only 22 years old, he will grow and develop. Romo is who he is most likely by now, he's 28. Borregales has already been extremely good at kickoffs, outside of the one bad one yesterday, generally he is knocking them almost exactly at the 1 yard line every time which is very impressive. I think they will take periodic missed XPs and FGs this year if it means he eventually develops into a stud. They're not in "win now" mode.

Warren & Bowers will compete for best TE in the league for the foreseeable future. McBride & Kraft are excellent too, but Kyler Murray sucks & Love distributes the ball too evenly amongst the offense for them to gain the production warranted. Loveland seems to have the tools & the coach to flourish, but will Caleb be a detriment to his success??

I hope your right that he infact actually develops into a reliable kicker for many years to come. Curious to see how he does in Foxborough come November.

I’m worried that Borregales needs to get his head right, and that’s an uncertain proposition. He was extremely casual on the kickoff he flubbed, so much that I was thinking how lazy his approach looked even while the ball was still in the air. I think he was feeling the pressure before he hit that long field goal and then relaxed when it was good and just was totally nonchalant about the ensuing kickoff. It makes me wonder if his early season problems have been because he felt he’d made it when Romo was cut, and he’s having difficulty making the mental adjustment he needs. It suggests to me that he’s not going to be as steady as we would want him to be.

You are probably right about him relaxing before the kickoff, but this was a learning experience and he won't make that mistake a second time (hopefully)

I don't know if he's doing his own cleats or the equipment people are - but his plant foot has slipped on every missed kick and kickoff to this point. And he's had to deal with wet field (home) and torn up field (away), although the second one, he should KNOW that field's going to be ****, he kicked there for 4 years.

Still has to make the kicks, but it seems like an easy enough fix.

I felt like Romo actually won the kicking competition this summer, but unfortunately the Pats didn't draft him with a sixth round pick.

Great matchup, Mike Evans vs Derek Stingley Jr.

Both teams go right down the field and score on their opening possession.

Controversial take ? I prefer Baker to Stroud.
