Yeah immediately gave me a JT feelingAchilles is what they’re saying.
Could it be Green Bay peaks too early? Long season, injuries come into play, as you get into the season there is more tape to study on teams etc. All that said early returns do suggest a 2 team NFC race. Vikings probably next if McCarthy becomes something this year. Lions have the pedigree and some talent but week 1 was not good.So who says that green bay goes to the nfc championship this year?
Id say its eagles vs green bay... only 1 week in.
The Afc is so wide open...
Bills... vs ?
Definitely some merit to that.Could it be Green Bay peaks too early? I have Ravens as my #1 AFC team. They had the Bills in Buffalo and let it slip but I think Ravens are the better overall team. Though the Bills are next they are 100% reliant on Allen and year after year in the playoffs someone slows him down just enough. After that there is group of teams in the running depending on how season plays out.
ON tape he's very similar but teams have decided to not play defenses that play to his strengths.I should have said Daniels looks nothing like last year as well.
Just throwing this out there: J Daniels is still the cream of that QB class until Maye proves otherwise.ON tape he's very similar but teams have decided to not play defenses that play to his strengths.
Teams against Maye and Daniels are going to play zone to protect against the run. Then make them prove they can dink and dunk down the field. Maye, despite some misses has, on tape, always been a more accurate passer than Daniels and he's struggling to adapt to the defenses so will likely be even harder for Daniels.
The other thing you need are zone busting wide receivers. No idea who Washington has, we have Diggs, who is great vs zone. Douglas sucks vs zone. Henry is not bad. Chism shown a potential to be a great zone receiver and since teams are playing zone until you get them out of it (by chewing clock and scoring) you need to play the players that thrive vs zone and then Maye has to not miss some easy short ones.
Daniels and Maye and the play calling can all get better. The fact Daniels is so old and still so inaccurate on short throws and the fact he was never a good processor gives me less hope for him but with the work ethic of both these guys eventually they both may just start picking zone defenses to death and then you'll see them both be great QB's as they are both already shown they can be deadly when playing man against them.
If they don't adapt, get better, you better draft elite zone busters to compensate.
The World Champs says hello.Definitely some merit to that.
In the NFC, Green Bay is clearly number 1 right now, but other top teams (IMO) would be the Eagles, Bucs, Vikings and probably the Lions but we’ll see. Funny that 3 of those are in the same division.
In the AFC, the Ravens and Bills are at the top. I’d also be looking at the Steelers and Chargers. The Colts are a dark horse, need them to prove they’re not a one week wonder first.
.... I listed the EaglesThe World Champs says hello.
I refuse to believe in Steelers with Old Man Rodgers. In their division, they're staring up at the Ravens and haven't proved they're past the Bengals yet. They barely beat the Jets and the Jets are terrible.Definitely some merit to that.

Of course, I don't think that's a question.Just throwing this out there: J Daniels is still the cream of that QB class until Maye proves otherwise.
I think Daniels is going to be fine: he showed it as a Rookie. Nobody was going to beat Philly last year: it was their year. Jayden Daniels Frame is the only thing that bothered me Pre Draft 24: but you can see he's a tough player. I like him more than Caleb and Maye coming out.Of course, I don't think that's a question.
I do struggle with him because his stats were more impressive than his tape.
I can't get that Philly regular season game out of my head with him. 258 yards, 5 TD, 2 picks, scored 36 points, 22 in 4th quarter. Up until the 4th quarter he kind of was bad. That whole game is a perfect Jayden Daniels tape, all the flaws, all the good.
I REALLY want Daniels to be good because we need exciting players to watch. I struggle getting past the fact he's so inaccurate on a high % of throws. I hope he improves on that.
“Colts” and “horse” nice punDefinitely some merit to that.

Washington will be fine: can't win every Tough game on the Road. The Pack lost their Best Receiver J Reed for a while too costly win.Washington looking pretty pedestrian and like a team that had a window open for them because Dallas, Detroit and SF imploded with injuries. It's early, but GB looks like a top team in the NFC right now.
IDK, I feel like the Jets played pretty well too. It's not always about "who you beat" but how you handle your business and unexpected circumstances.I refuse to believe in Steelers with Old Man Rodgers. Not sure I agree that they've seen their unexpected circumstances yet this season with Rodgers liable to fall apart or go off script at any moment. But I do think Tomlin is a far better coach than he gets credit for, for always keeping the circus of his players from overwhelming the team. It's exactly what McDaniels is incapable of doing in Miami.IDK, I feel like the Jets played pretty well too. Yeah I don't disagree about Rodgers, I am just judging on the "now". In 2 months, Rodgers will probably have done his usual crap and they'll be in different standing. Not sure I agree that they've seen their unexpected circumstances yet this season with Rodgers liable to fall apart or go off script at any moment.
